An outstanding dessert spot in Dearborn Heights offers delicious homemade treats! The tarboosh is particularly tasty! They also have a variety of other scrumptious options. It's definitely worth the trip for anyone. I drove 1.5 hours to visit, and the customer service was excellent!
Jaret Al-Amar is usually a really great spot if you’re looking for high-quality desserts. Most of the time, everything is fresh, well made, and full of flavor, and you can tell care goes into what they offer. The place is clean, the service is friendly, and the overall experience is generally pleasant. However, this time we tried their cocktail fruit cup ashta, and it was honestly a disappointment. The flavor just wasn’t there, especially considering it was $13, which made it even more frustrating. We’ve had good experiences here before, so this felt out of character, but it definitely missed the mark. Still a solid dessert spot overall, but that particular item didn’t live up to expectations
Went in today because I saw a video about the tarbush sweets they make there, as soon as I asked about them, I was handed a tarbush to try. That friendly gesture really stood out. I also picked up a tray of petit four cookies as a gift for someone I’m visiting, and they were beautifully arranged and looked very elegant—perfect for gifting. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to!
Super friendly to kids. We had the knafa in bread with the pistachio butter and it was sooo good. It’s super beautiful and clean inside the store. The girls in the front were really nice and super helpful. We are visiting from out of town but we will definitely be back when we visit again. 10/10!
You have to try this place! The sweets taste just like authentic Lebanese desserts. We tried a variety of items and every single one was amazing. I tried daoukieh for the first time and it was incredible. The petit four is my absolute favorite — I’m addicted! The sfouf, the cakes… everything is just perfect. Wishing her all the success she deserves, because she truly is the best here
Have been coming here since they opened this is one of the best bakeries in Dearborn. The service is unmatched. Yara is an angel. Very authentic, very real, no gimmicks. A MUST try for any real dessert lovers / middle-eastern sweets connoisseur.
This place is the only place that sell everything as sweet as our hometown Lebanon everything from knefa to the bee-hive to ras al abed to the arabic sweets to the cake is amazingly delicious! Service is great and the atmosphere takes you miles and miles away! I love this place!
Best customer service ever! Amazing treats and sweets. I haven’t tried the coffee options yet but they look amazing. There is something new each time we come in. There was a cool looking chocolate shawarma thing that I have never seen before and definitely need to try it! I assume it was the owner who helped us today and she is by far the kindest person, very hospitable! I hope Jared El Amar thrives and continues to impress! Must try!
