Just had one of the best Taiwanese meals in recent memory! The dumplings are legitimately outstanding and the spicy sauce that it came with, delicious! Easily some of the best I’ve ever had. Service was quick, attentive, and genuinely warm. The staff noticed it was our first time and gave spot on recommendations without being pushy, huge props for steering us toward the shiitake dumplings. If you’re craving authentic Taiwanese flavors done right we recommend Bao Bao in Roma Norte. Already planning my next visit!
This spot was so tasty and cute. Needed a quick bite after our flight and this delivered. Very friendly waiters and really great service. We got the pork and fried chicken bao buns and the spicy cucumbers. I would definitely stop back here again.
A few vegetarian/vegan options, pretty good. Prices are maybe a little high but reasonable, really cute spot. They have an English menu too.
I wish I could give this place more stars. I have honestly had one of the best experiences ever here and they made an exception for us during covid and allowed us to dine inside. The staff were so wonderful to us, we were able to try a variety of authentic Taiwanese dishes. Everything had such good flavor and taste. We almost ordered one of everything it tasted soooo good!!! We got tofu rice, chicken rice, chicken bao, colored buns, mochi, and tea!!! I have wanted to come back and try even more dishes!!!!
As good as you’re gonna get outside of Asian neighborhoods. Ain’t exactly the same as Taiwanese food, but it’s 80% of the way there and still yummy. Would eat again when I’m craving Asian food.
The food is absolutely delicious! We stumbled upon it after not wanting to wait in line for an hour at another hyped restaurant. The food has so much flavor and the ingredients tastes so fresh. Alot of the items seems to be home made. My mouth is having a party with flavors . From bao bao with briskets to taiwanese soup and tawaineese quesadilla... Everything was delicious. And the service was so good and attenttive
Cute, clean, nice Asian spot. Decent price, considering the area. I have had all of the starters and they are all delicious! I enjoy usually with a glass of wine, which is good. The wait staff I have encountered all speak reasonable English. I go earlier in the evening, and there is always availability.
Went on a Friday night for dinner and no reservation was needed. The staff is polite and service is pretty quick. The pork dumplings are really good but my favorite dish was the pork belly rice. Very flavorful and a good portion. The best thing about it is the price, which was surprising to me as it’s located in an overpriced neighborhood. Really worth it!
