Good vegan place in Maui.. has a decent size menu but once u have had a few dishes rest of them start tasting the same.. not a bad thing though.. we did their happy hour tacos(one of each), they were good but could do with more sauce as they felt a little dry.. we also did their famous taro burger and roasted cauliflower side for lunch another day.. loved the cauliflower, the burger was decent and filling but again could do with a little more sauce. We also had their avocado cocktail which was so refreshing! And their hot sauce is amazing! Also loved the fact they they are so eco-friendly.. for vegetarians/vegans it was a must try in Maui

This vegan place is absolutely delicious! We had ordered the Buffalo cauliflower and comes with a macadamia nut ranch sauce, the taro root burger, and a slice of mint chocolate pie. All items ordered were also gluten free and so delicious. This place doesn't sacrifice flavor and is consistent throughout each of their dishes. The staff was also nice and there is shaded outdoor seating to enjoy your meal. They are a 0 waste company and give banana leaves to wrap your food in to take leftovers home. This place is great, eat here!

This place has amazing vegan food! The menu is vast and they have some yummy drinks as well- like lavendar lemonade and Thai iced tea. I am not a vegan and enjoyed it a lot. However I will admit, I was hungry a few hours later even though I ate a lot lol. The presentation is thoughtful and the portion sizes are BIG! It’s expensive like everything else in Maui, but one bowl could easily feed two people. Please note that they are waste free so you will not be able to get a takeaway box. If you need one, bring your own. My only complaint is that we were sitting in the outside area with three small children and the rap music they were playing was exceptionally vulgar lol.

Can I get a 6th star? If I could I would use it and still it would not be enough. The food was outstanding, the staff was outstanding, and their attention to the full meaning of being a vegan, made it one of the best eating experience I have had in a long time. The food was wonderful, as was the proportions and price. No plastic in this place or unneeded use of paper. The takeout desserts were carefully wrapped in palm leaves. The napkins are reusable cloth. I had the Reuben (Brined eggplant, sauerkraut, french dressing, and vegan cheese on rye.) it was lovely! My wife had the High Protein Veggie (Loaded with mac-nut aioli, microgreens, avo, carrots, lettuce, tomato, kale pesto.) The best came last in the form of a warm Taro (GF)Brownie covered with macadamia nuts. Truly as good as it gets and can’t wait to go again. All vegan, plant based and sustainable!

It is one of the best places for vegan and vegetarian options. It also offers a gluten-free option. Ordered as follows: Loco Moku - Best, in my opinion Taro Burger - Raw Pad Thai - I would strongly recommend this place.

Their Taro burger is one of the best burgers I have ever had. This place is a must try, even if you are not a vegan. It’s an experience. They are vegan to the truest sense. They don’t even carry take out boxes and use leaves to pack food. Also, everyone who works here is super nice. No reservations needed, they have indoor as well as outdoor seating and are located in a shopping complex so plenty of parking. They do take a $3 deposit for the mason jars, if you are planning to take out their amazing drinks

Delicious veggie/vegan food and drink! Even if you are not vegan, the menu is diverse, healthy and very tasty! Helpful and friendly staff… as the menu at first felt abit overwhelming, but after asking what their top sellers were and explaining what food types we enjoy, they made excellent recommendations for us! Reasonable waiting time considering how popular it was when we arrived. Was rather impressed by their sustainability methods. Reusable cloths instead of napkins, use leaves for packaging and do not provide plastic straws. Everything is locally produced as well! We had the Thai tea and lavender lemonade, both refreshing and completely different taste experience. My husband had the kale salad (which was average) and I had the vegan tacos which was a generous portion and delicious! To finish, we had a vegan/gluten free chocolate macaron style looking desert which was very flavourful. Thrilled to have found this healthy hot spot and going to return a few times during our week visiting the island. Hoping the other items I try are equally as good as I have read a handful of negative reviews from other clients, but our recent experience did not reflect what I have come across online. It is abit on the pricier side, however we are personally happy to support a locally run restoraunt and local ethically sourced organic products. Since my original post, we have gone back two more times during our vacation. We had the Loco Moku and BLAT with chocolate chip taro cookie and oatmeal raisin ulu cookies. Everything was delicious yet again! The first time we visited, we didn’t realise they also had cocktails and home made kombuchas. We don’t drink alcohol, however people around us seemed to be enjoying their tropical themed drinks.

Just okay, not as good as I was expecting. The avocado toast with strawberry and balsalmic was extremely soggy. Sunday brunch special Acai Bowl was just decent. I also tried the sushi-rito, and it was very bland. The food looks very pretty, though! The restaurant is in a convenient area with a lot of parking, and service is fine.

One of THE best vegan restaurants I've been till date. It's not just about the food, the entire store is zero waste! Being someone who goes towards zero waste myself, this place was such a treat! For takeout, you could get your own box or you could purchase a reusable box from them.

Wow! This is a ZERO waste restaurant. I'm so impressed with that. They staff I spoke with for my carryout order and pick up were so nice, engaging, and helpful. There are certain dishes that need to be serve in containers. For those they ask for a deposit! Don't turn up your nose to this! Order something different, pay the deposit & return the dish, or let the money pay itself forward (Pro Tip: I actually brought my own dish but I'm not sure if they wish recommend that ). These guys are doing a tremendous service. The food was great. Especially since I took it back to the condo 10 minutes away wrapped in "ti" leaves, in think (check out the pictures). Its always a pleasure of mine to go to a fully vegan restaurant. I enjoyed this establishment's uniqueness. And the food was full flavor and a variety of excitement. Good job staff.

One of the best vegan restaurants with great food, cool vibe, amazing staff. They are zero waste - need I say more! We tried taro burger for the first time and it was delicious -5/5. Pineapple fried rice and pad Thai were super flavorful - 5/5 Tacos were good too! They have lots of good options for drinks - loved Lavender lemonade and hibiscus mimosa. If you are in Maui, I definitely recommend trying this restaurant. Oh! Also they have some cool t-shirts that you can buy!!

Amazing fresh food that comes with a wonderful farm to table, no waste, sustainability model that I can appreciate. Lots of delicious things on the menu that make your body happy you ate them! The staff is super friendly and accommodating, and they crush fresh herbs in your drinks, it just doesn't get much better than that!

We seriously love this place and practically eat here every meal when we’re in the area. The food is fresh and super tasty - it’s some of the best vegan food available anywhere. The staff are always super kind and it’s a zero waste company so you can feel good about that. We love getting the papaya salad and trying daily specials, the taro burgers are always super tasty. Don’t forget to check the coolers in the front for fresh fruit and tasty desserts. I would have more pictures here but we always eat everything up before I think to capture it!

I am outraged at how delicious the food and drinks were. The staff were super kind and helpful, who do they think they are!? The wide variety of sweets are to die for, not cool! Needless to say, we thoroughly enjoyed this spot... Deplorable! (We visited the island for a week and ate here 5 times...)

One word: AMAZING!!!!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS PLACE! Went here for dinner Saturday and brunch Sunday. The buffalo cauliflower wrap is delicious and lovers of spice will relish in all the buffalo goodness. The brownie is to die for, they warm up the croissants for you, as if they weren't good enough already!
