I have been going for 11 years. Solid family-run Vietnamese gem of a restaurant . Nothing has changed except the fish over the years in their fish tank and no more hot Vietnamese coffee-same food, same menu, same decor, same family and servers, same prices, same parking. In this ever changing world, I LOVE that they haven’t changed a thing and the food is delicious. Don’t ever change. It is worth the parking issue. Reminder that they are closed Sundays and Mondays. I love the pho, fried pork rolls, and spring rolls, glass noodles #27, lemonade…Everything is delicious with homey atmosphere . My kids love this place and grew up going there and so do I.
Hands down the absolute BEST Vietnamese food you can get in North Jersey. I find myself craving their Chicken Pho weekly and it manages to exceed my expectations every damn time! Their homemade chili sauce is good enough to drink and the rice paper spring rolls come with a peanut sauce that you’ll think about for days. Great food, great service, great prices.
Incredible place! Love their pho and spare ribs over rice. The quality of ingredients is unmatched. Best place in town for Vietnamese food :)
Amazing discovery! Not expensive, great quality. The Pho here is not as strong in spices compared to other places, but that's the key point of they are so attractive and the homemade hot chili sauce is fantastic! It was my first visit, so I ordered a small Pho, and it was so delicious that I bought a large size Pho again. If you like Vietnamese food, I recommend not to miss this place.
Delicious Vietnamese food! The broth is so flavorful, and I love that they have homemade hot sauce. Friendly and attentive staff, and it’s family-owned, which makes it feel even more welcoming. Only thing is that parking is tricky but manageable.
Delicious and affordable! My boyfriend and I came here, we each ordered pho and split a pork chop over rice. The iced coffee w/condensed milk and the soda lemonade were also delicious. It was a cozy and comfortable place, the lady/owner is so sweet. $50 for everything after tip - can’t beat that. We will be back!
We ordered TOM XAO CARI XA OT CAY which is stir fried curry and lemongrass, HU TIEU XAO CARI CAY which is rice noodle w/curry chicken and Pho Do Bien which is rice noodle seafood soup. My take was a little different than my husbands, so I’ll give you both. The price were very reasonable, albeit the portions were more like lunch size, but for me it was enough. The dishes had a decent amount of noodles but could have used a bit more protein and vegetables. I thought the curry dishes had a nice sweet curry flavor but I didn’t taste any spice in either dish nor did I get a taste of citrus from the lemongrass. I still enjoyed it and would go back again and try some other dishes. My husband on the other hand had a different experience. He said the soup was good but felt the curry dishes were very bland and lacked flavor especially salt and spice. I am not sure he will be going back with me. Overall I recommend you check it out for yourself. The jury is still out for us, but I would try it again.
Nice little Vietnamese eatery, good size and decent taste, a little on the sweeter side and less beefy taste for the broth. Vietnamese ice coffee was good. Decent price for the serving size. Fried spring rolls were good. Parking is a little tricky at the back but manageable.
