Sweetie’s Liberian Restaurant is hands-down one of my favorite spots. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and made with real care. My go-to dish is the Attike with red snapper—perfectly seasoned, cooked just right, and consistently delicious every single time. But what really sets Sweetie’s apart is the customer service. They treat you like family. One time I was sick and really needed pepper soup to help me feel better, and they literally kept the store open past closing just to make sure I could get the food I needed. That kind of kindness and dedication is rare these days. Thank you to everyone at Sweetie’s for the amazing food and even better hospitality. I truly appreciate you—support for life!
I ordered the snapper with dried rice, it comes with pepper sauce. The snapper is big enough to feed a family. I also ordered the tilapia and Crocker fish by itself. The fishes were fried to perfection and this was one of the best pepper sauce I’ve had in a long time. If you’re ordering the snapper do it In person I don’t believe this is an order they accept over the phone. Even though I ordered it on the phone it wasn’t placed until I got there and I live 40 minutes away, I think that’s because of the price. I’ll definitely visit in the future
My second time having there cassava leaf. It comes with rice and taste so good. I never had African food before. The spicy level is high but i can handle. It has chicken pieces and i think i think piece of idk what skin or nerve if you know let me know
When I am in mood for some Lamb this is the only place I go to. Lamb platter is amazing. Meat is tender, flavorful and rice are cooked perfectly! Comes with spicy sauce(Hot!!!!), which has a unique taste to it,best mixed with rice.
I am a truck driver. I ordered potatoes greens with red oil . The food was very good. Great taste and cow skin so good . I will definitely order again. That’s how African food should taste. Waw wonderful jobs . Love love the food .
The potato greens are very good. The hotness is perfect. Love the red oil. No need to get extra. The plantains are cooked perfectly. My new go to African food.
Fried Kidney Beans and Rice So good and fresh! They gave me so much. Oh my goodness, it’s so good! Real authentic African food. I want to hug the chef! I can’t wait to try some other dishes.
