Surprisingly, good food! We just went there based on the website photos, and the ambience was not anything like what the photos were suggesting. Service was very good and food was good as well, but the ambience was not much more than a bar. These photos may not look the best because the poor lighting..
Went on a recommendation from a friend. We were greeted by the hostess at the door with their specials listed at the front desk. The waitress Nikki (?) and Renee were attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and great outgoing personalities! I ordered the Drunken Shrimp, a bowl of the French Onion Soup, Field of Fruit with Blackened Salmon, and my friend ordered the Lunch Asian Chicken Salad. The Drunken Shrimp's sauce was creamy and the right texture. We both wished it had more Sriracha in the flavor side of it because it lacked that warm spicy kick. The French Onion Soup was excellent and I could have had another bowl easily! The Field of Fruit With Blackened Salmon was mixed with great components that blended well together! Again, the only challenge was the salmon lacked that spiciness of the Blackened flavor. Otherwise it was cooked to perfection! My friend loved his Lunch Asian Chicken Salad. It is his "go to" when he eats at 220. A great dining experience and excellent staff! Definitely worth a try if you are near Davis Island!
Excellent dinner option. I ordered the Chicken Thai Cobb salad. It was fantastic and was satisfied with just that. Others in my party ordered a burger and blacked salmon. Both of those were delicious as well, as I sampled. Staff is friendly, dress is nice casual, prices are fair.
We ate 220 East. It was delicious and quaint. I had Field of Fruit with Blackened Salmon. The Salmon was cooked perfectly, juicy and tender. The salad flavor blends were scrumptious. House dressing topped it off. Kev. had Burbon Steak. It was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend
Great local spot on Davis Island for casual but delicious meal. Had dinner, and the grilled Mandarin Salmon is incredible ! Perfectly cooked, tender and in a nice teriyaki sauce. Highly recommend. Prices very reasonable. Full bar . Service was excellent.
Nice little spot for lunch. They have a pretty diverse menu, something for everyone. The food was fresh and tasty. Service was also great
We stopped in here to eat on a busy night this past Saturday there was a market going on outside. But the servers were very nice and we were able to sit down quickly with my family. The bacon avocado chicken sandwich was great and my son had a steak which was also great. The service was good and the place was really enjoyable to eat at.
They made a nice comeback after Milton. So glad to see Black Tie Affair back on the menu. Shrimp, andouille, fresh mushrooms over pasta. So delicious. The drunken shrimp appetizer was equally good. The sauce is incredible. Had a few rum cocktails along the way. Quite the neighborhood mom and pop kinda place.
