Good food, good service, great prices. Local hole in the wall Mexican Restaurant- the best in Zephyrhills IMO. Menu has a good selection of offerings. The servers are friendly. Only negative and not the fault of the restaurant- a neighborhood crackhead was in the next booth and she was loud and obnoxious. Used her outside voice the entire time she was there. The restaurant was full, yet she was the only noise you could hear. Drugs bad. Mexican food good.
First time customers this evening. The Chile Relleno & the Chile Verde dinners were mouthwatering delicious! I even ordered tamales to take for my lunch tomorrow lol. We'll be back for sure & can't wait to try other things on the menu. Our server Hayley was beyond amazing, she was friendly, helpful & has a great personality. She showed up for work & was outstanding, even though earlier in the day she was in an accident that totaled her vehicle (she wasn't at fault). We wish the best for you Hayley, from your new friends in Lake Panasoffkee!
Best Mexican food... If you're looking for a great decently priced meal, then this is your place.
I didn't know this place existed until one of our friends told us about it. This is the best kept secret of Zephyrhills! It is so good and so authentic. I forgot to snap a picture because it was so delicious we just dug right in. If you haven't been to Los Chicos yet you are definitely missing out.
Food was very good, serving size was generous. Service was good. Prices were more than I expected, but the portion size helped to offset it.
The fajitas are the best. When I want great fajitas its worth the drive from Tampa to eat here. Their fried ice cream is a delicious dessert. Also, one of few restaurants that has a nopales dish. The food here is good, definitely worth the visit if you like Mexican food.
I ate there twice this week, while visiting friends in the area. I wanted to leave a 5 stars review and the service on Tuesday was great, but on Thursday morning there was a different waitress and she was negative and rude. Customer service is important... Julie was our lovely and helpful server. Clean. Cool. Comfortable atmosphere. Restaurant is off the beaten path butcworth the search! Good menu choices. Lunch portions available during certain times. Booths could use more padding in seat bottoms is only negative comment I would mention. Have driven from Lakeland to Los Chicos twice now just to eat there!
