American Style

Exceptional place ! Food is extra good and tasty. There are a lot of burgers to choose and also steaks. Unlimited refill is included. Parking is free and there are always some places. Not crowded, very popular among locals. Always come here when in Reykjavik. Recommend !

Total surprise! We fell into the hands of the nicest staff anywhere. They totally took care of us from suggestions from the menu to getting us the name of the seasoning used on fried food. Oh yah, the food was fabulous too. Truly better than any burger I have eaten in America. Steak was juicy and seared to perfection with delicious spices. Bacon on the burger was perfect and the cucumber was an added delight. The chicken salad was absolutely delicious with the teriyaki sauce. Once again better than the food was the staff, They took the time to explain everything on the menu that we asked about. I was impressed how they work hard not only serving us we’re cleaning up all the tables. They always had a smile and we’re great with a conversation. Truly, awesome customer service. My family, if we lived closer, frequent this restaurant. It was definitely worth the few minute drive outside of town to experience some better than hometown cooking!

The chicken tenders were great! I don't know how they breaded them but so delicious. The fries were just basic fries and left much to be desired. The staff were very polite and helpful. The atmosphere was very trendy American theme. It was very quick which is what we were looking for and affordable.

Very clean restaurant We enjoyed our hamburgers. Very similar to burgers we get from the states. Their fries were nothing to write home about. Service was excellent. This restaurant was close to our hotel, so we were able to walk to it.

Maybe because I hadn't eaten since breakfast but this burger was amazing (the governor) with a beef burger, pulled pork and tempura jalapenos. Price was 2660 for a combo with free refills. Assume that's reasonable for these parts.

Heard about this spot from our taxi driver and decided to check it out. The meat was very juicy and delicious. We ordered the Soccer Style burger as well as Bernie Style one.

This restaurant is a casual place where you order and pay at the cash register and the bring your food to your table. Drinks come with most of the meals and you can refill it as you like. I ordered the fish and chips dinner with cod, onion rings and coleslaw. My husband ordered the chicken strip sandwich dinner with fries everything was cooked perfectly and was very good. We were particularly hungry after walking around Reykjavik all day, so after our food was delivered, my husband decided that the fries were so good, that he wanted more. I gladly went to the cashier and told him that we had been on the go all day (we actually walked about 8 miles) and that I wanted to order another serving of fries. He put a rush on the fries and quickly delivered them. About 10 minutes later, he brought about a half order of fries for free stating that the chef said, "If he hungry, bring him more fries". This was very unexpected, yet greatly appreciated.

A solid taste of burger. I've order "The Governor" and they served it quite fast. Spicey. If you ask me - a small portion, it could be bigger. Got it with french fries as a side dish; not so much of it, they could serve it bit more. Great interior, a young, friendly and a helpful staff. I gave 4* only because of the interior, staff and a free refill drink you have at the cash register. Otherwise, I would rate it 3* since the burger isn't anything special for it's price (around 2600 kr which is approx. 20€).
