The first time I was a student was in 1996, and I’m finally going to graduate in 2025. The Anna Irving dining hall is much more light and airy now than it was then. It was all dark wood panel. I was amazed at the quality of food and I actually look forward to eating there again.
Awesome food. So many delicious and healthy choices. I especially love that they have vegan/vegetarian options.
The staff are great and their is a wide variety of food to choose from. All the different sections make sure that everyone has something to eat!
I was surprised at the nice selection of entrees and vegetables. Favorites such as chicken fingers, fries, and pizza were also available. Everything was seasoned well and had good flavor. There was a fresh fruit and salad bar that was of high quality. A few different dessert options were also available, so I sampled the peach cobbler parfait and oatmeal raisin cookies. Both were very tasty. There was a large selection of fountain drinks and juices. Everything was modern and clean and very comfortable. It was the best dining hall food I've ever had and was better than most buffets and cafeterias I've been too. UM students are fortunate to have such a great dining hall. I would go back in a minute.

I love eating at the college. It has healthy options and you get really well cooked food and I love the fact most of the time I can see what is on the link to eat to know if I want to eat or not.
This is a very hidden gem located in the University of montevallo. Most locals do not even realize It is open to all. Buffet style food. Very reasonable price. Limited menu and operation during the summer hours. Extensive breakfast bar during school season.
