Taber’S Country Inn

Was very busy, as there was quite a crowd for their friday fish, but server was very sweet and kind.. The serving was just right and delicious!

Had a wonderful experience. Went for the fish fry. Be prepared to wait if you don't get there early, it is a bit small with limited seating. It was definitely worth the wait. I had the haddock which was delicious along with the baby reds. Our waitress Erin was busting her tail the entire time yet found time to be personable with us. Hat's off to this young lady who looked like a pole position driver negotiating the traffic cones as some of the customers decided it would be ok to place chairs on the ends of table plugging up the isles. The drinks were typical Wisco small bar drinks, plenty of booze and not watered down with soda or ice. All in all great experience. We will be back.

Awesome bloody Marys, the pickled mushrooms are amazing! The bartender we had was very friendly and attentive. We both had the Sunday special and it was great! Will definitely be going back.

My wife and I had the prime rib special. Portion was good and the food was great for both of us. The service was exceptional as well. We will definitely go back again.

Had the steak and shrimp tonight and it was delicious OUTSTANDING!

Went to Taber's last night for the first time ever. Been past it many times when they weren't open and really never thought to go there at night until a former neighbor told us about their experience, and they did not disappoint! First off, walking in for the first time was actually surprising. I expected a typical simple wisconsin, somewhat grungy, country bar. It was large, very clean, homey, inviting, and just a downright great atmosphere. We weren't sure if we needed to see a hostess or get on a list, but the bar tender simply said "welcome, you can grab the table that just opened up if you'd like". The server was wonderful! She was running like hell to take care of her customers, but never forgot about any customers and made sure each time she stopped to make you feel personally welcomed and appreciated. Never did she make you feel like you were a nuisance. There were a couple of items that were in the menu, but not being served. The owner later told us that she quit serving the item recently because the supplier did not meet her expectations. I can respect that! Our server comped us a drink due to the menu issue, which was not necessary. The server comped us our appetizer for the wait, also not necessary. The food was really good, the service and atmosphere were amazing. This may have been our first time there, but definitely will not be our last.

Stopped in for the Friday fish. Service was prompt and courteous, with regular check ins by the server and other staff. The drink menu is broad and has a lot of great choices! Our food was prepared quickly and was hot when it arrived at our table! Seems to be a kid friendly atmosphere and we plan to bring ours back for another fish fry! The place looks really well cared for and the patrons all seemed to be enjoying their food and friends. We will be back and telling others about this place!
