Simple plates with flavor of grandmas cooking and love. Service was great. Place was full and yet no wait. Dessert… the homemade Carrot Cake was spot on. We will be back!

Wife had the classic burger with fries. I had the rueben with fries. The rueben was properly made and served hot. The fries here are awesome. They're not your everyday fries. I think they're dipped in some seasoned flour maybe. They're crispy outside and cooked to perfection inside. Service was really good and very attentive. The menu has a variety of both Mexican and American cuisine. They also have an ice cream parlor. Yummy.

There's new owners so the menu is the laminated white paper. Banana split was really good. They have blue bunny ice cream. Hot dog was bacon wrapped! The burger patties were a little dry.

Food was amazing and I love the decor. Everything was great, but our service cashier/server should of been more welcoming/ informative. We weren't greeted, not even a smile. When I asked questions about the menu items it seemed as if I was annoying the cashier by asking more about the menu because it was our first time eating there. Like I said, food was amazing,clean, great decor and atmosphere. But if you don't have friendly service it will drive out your customers regardless how good the food is. I know I've been in the business for 17 years ran a few resteaunts myself and continue to work in the food industry and hospitality is very important.

This Diner was an absolute *GEM* (literal and metaphorical) we’ve been roadtrippjng for 2 weeks with our 2 sons which has been its own series of comedic events but this diner was like an oasis to recharge. Delicious ice cream very kind and welcoming service. They let my 2 year old play with their toy . Also I am really into baking cookies and I love cookies and I consider myself an expert here and they sold us cookies that were soooo good. The cookies had chopped pecans and some blueberry fruit preserve in the center and it was like a shortbread almost. If they would be willing I would love that recipe because they were so good and I don’t even know what to call them!

So glad we stopped in to try something new while visiting. My husband, a burger connoisseur, said the Aaron Burger was easily one of the TOP burgers in southern New Mexico! Double patty, green chile, cheese, avocados, bacon… cooked to perfection! I had the grilled chicken sandwich and that was light but filling and tasty. Sides were great too. Highly recommend stopping in, only 5 minutes from I-10 if you are passing through and way better than the fast food chains!
