Stopped in just before they closed, they were so hospitable and still served me. Quick egg sandwich and coffee that didn’t feel rushed. My waiter was super sweet. Quaint little shop hidden away but a real gem, never been here before and glad i found it as a newbie to the area on the rainy gloomy day.

I've been eating at The Chateau since I was a kid. The breakfasts, Mishes, burgers, homemade soups, shakes, comfort food are all delicious. Friendly, helpful staff and delivery.
The server (wearing a shirt named Jimmy, but others called him Angelo) was super kind & friendly. The food was fast & delicious. The regular coffee was to die for & exactly what I was looking for this morning.
A very good place to try. Service is great and the atmosphere is calm. The creamy tomato soup is a favorite. For two people ordering meals along with a side soup and hot chocolate, the total was under $20. I ordered lunch for breakfast. Right next to the long island railroad woodmere stop.
Great little diner next to the Woodmere Train station. Thank you Jimmy for taking care of us. Burgers were delicious.
The young lady took my order and in less than 10 minutes it was ready. Pleasant walk in and take out.
I love this place. The interior is a flashback to a 1950s coffee shop. I had a cup of split pea soup which was nice and thick. Afterwards I had a chicken salad sandwich on toasted whole wheat was very good. The service was great and friendly. If you like going to an old fashioned coffee shop this is a great place to go.
