Fredi's is definitely one of my favorite diners on the southeast side. The food is always hot and delicious, the prices are reasonable, and the portions are big. If you're gonna dine in then be prepared to wait on most occasions, it's definitely a lot of families favorite restaurant. Fred's has all the classic coney spot favs, but they also have a wide variety of their own specialties. I would highly recommend anyone give it a try, especially since theirs something for everyone on the menu.

My co-worker and I stopped by here for lunch after seeing the rave reviews. Our wait for a booth was about 10 minutes. They have a vast menu and daily specials. I enjoyed a cup of chicken lemon rice for an appetizer, and I had the massive gyro platter with French fries for my entree. The gyro was delicious, and I had to take half home. All the desserts are homemade, and I elected to take a bread pudding and a slice of cheesecake home for the family. Their cannolis looked amazing, but they sold out in 30 minutes, so make sure you get them when you can. Only booth seating inside (I’m told they have outdoor seating when it’s warm). Diner atmosphere with large windows for natural light. Excellent service. Clean. Competitive pricing with a credit card use fee. I will be back again to get my cannoli.

Early evening, about 7:15 PM, Tuesday. Brought my good friend (blind) to eat. He had the Fisherman's Platter and enjoyed every bite! I have the breakfast special on the board coming in. Fixed perfectly. Waitress was so friendly I offered her a seat with us. Smiling, she declined. Just couldn't get her all to ourselves, she had others to take care of. I recommend this establishment, many visits, never disappointed, always felt better leaving than when coming in. And that's really saying something, as they don't come much grumpier than me.

Went on Valentine’s Day, was one of the places that didn’t have a wait! First time here! Food was good and served in a timely manner! Staff were friendly and polite!

I cannot believe this place has been only a couple miles from my house for as long as it has and I haven't tried it yet. We were on our way to a graduation and happened to see and decided to stop in the parking lot was absolutely filled to the brim. There's plenty of parking but it was full and there was a wait out the door but everyone kept saying it was worth it and boy they weren't wrong. So many things were made from scratch including all of the desserts, the sauces, pan-fried walleye, fried veal with spaghetti with this delicious meat sauce, super garlicky and buttery garlic bread, I had some zip sauce pasta which is like a mushroom sauce with lemon and garlic which was absolutely delicious it has small tender pieces of tenderloin in it the salads were crispy and fresh, and we got the sampler with the wings, the cheese sticks, The Onion rings, and some other items and everything was just super fresh and good and it felt like you were eating in your own kitchen. There's not a lot of seating inside but there is an outdoor seating area also but it's worth the wait even if you have to wait but by the time we left around 7:00 it was starting to clear out. They have breakfast and lunch and dinner which you can have breakfast at dinner if you like. There's lots of items to choose from I was scoping out other tables and everything looked delicious including their bacon sandwiches which I plan to try for breakfast tomorrow. In fact I plan to go back within the next few days. The service was amazing our waitress was super fast everyone was working together as a team to keep the tables cleared there was rarely ever a dirty plate left on the table while we were eating and changing courses. There's a lit up menu board that highlights deals for the day, pictures of desserts etc. It's just a really good vibe and really good food and offer a great price. We got the sampler for an appetizer two salads a cup of delicious chicken noodle soup with the fat noodles that I love and a really rich broth, two main entrees and a dessert to go and it was only $60.

food was so good that I started eating before I could take my picture. I highly recommend the small diner. The service is outstanding, the food is made from scratch and delicious and it is very affordable. Whether you’re looking for breakfast lunch or dinner They have exactly what you’re looking for. Try their soups. They are made with love, Especially their cheeseburger And stuffed pepperSoup.

This has become our favorite restaurant in the area. Everything we've ordered is fresh, we'll seasoned and portions are huge. Fairly priced. They offer nice loaf bread with dinner. I love breakfast gravy and their's is on point. Staff is always friendly and efficient. Quality and selection is far better than any other family restaurant around. Can say enough good things about Fredi's.
