This is an absolute hidden gem. I've lived in the region for 25 years and it took a visit to the dentist to hear about this great old timey diner. I arrived on a Thursday and enjoyed their dumpling dinner (see picture). The portion was ample, and the dumplings were like mom's. The fried mushrooms were outstanding...great breading. This is a must do if you live or visit Southern Indiana. You can thank me later.
Wonderful place to have dinner. I love the dressed cheeseburger, fries & strawberry milkshake. Very sweet & friendly people work here. I highly recommend this restaurant. Prices are reasonable.
Mom and Pop shop with great prices. Been coming for many years. Nothing fancy but everything is pretty good. For what you pay it's worth it
Good food, friendly workers, and a knock-your-socks-off peanut butter milkshake!! Always good burger and fry. Chili dogs are good. Lots of menu options.
Great family atmosphere Cheap food and desert! No bathroom so plan accordingly But it's definitely one of our family favorites.
$12 lunch for husband and I. Chicken tender basket and cheese burger and fried mushrooms, two medium drinks. Very yummy!
OUT STANDING!!!!! From the moment & pop feel , to the awesome staff and of course the great food!!!! I love that I found this place. I had the jumbo chili dog that was great , & the fried mushrooms are awesome , and chili cheese fry’s!!!! Please never change! They even had country time lemonade!!!!
Always a favorite stop of ours. Their chicken strips are better than most any I’ve had anywhere. We love the catfish too. Shakes are always great tasting as well. Can’t beat the prices, don’t sleep on this place. Better than any fast food joint. Please tip!... And tell Carla hi, she’s great!
