The perfect beachside dining spot! We were a group of six with two young children and the staff was extremely accommodating, helpful and so friendly. Antoneta went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable as it was a chillier night and helped keep our kids busy and entertained. Our daughter even got to ring the sunset bell, which was the cherry on top!! The food was great— we had the coconut shrimp and lobster quesadilla which were delicious. Drinks were delicious too! Try the Coco Loco and sip away as you watch the beautiful sunset in front of you. Highly recommend!!
We found this restaurant on Google. It turns out the restaurant is attached to the Ritz-Carlton. We drove up to the valet in our old beater vehicle feeling a little out of place, but we were treated with the same respect and care as everyone else. We appreciate the great service we received. Our waiter, Baga, was very good! The food and drinks were delicious and the view was amazing!
Great location! One of the only public beach side bars in the area. Great food, good drinks. What more can you ask for?
We got the churrasco with yuca and the grouper tacos. The steak was good, cooked well in medium. The cilantro sauce was a good Complement. The grouper could have been better the blacked seasoning was not Cooked all the way on making like paste. The flour tortillas tasted cheap. The key lime pie needed more key lime. A good place to eat and see the sunset. The service was good. If you want to pay a lot of money for atmosphere I would go here
Good food for the beach day. I didn’t expect the food here to be amazing due to pool food service. I enjoyed the cocktails and the food on my beach chair. The server was very nice and intuitive. We tried to dine in the next day. The menu is larger, so I order poke bowl. It was delicious.
The sunset view experience NEVER gets old at Gumbo Limbo...A truly special place
In my view, this is one of the premier spots in Southwest Florida. Nestled at the end of Vanderbilt Beach Road, it’s part of the prestigious Ritz Carlton Hotel. The venue boasts a beachfront location with a stunning ocean view. Depending on the season, you can enjoy beautiful vistas and refreshing winter breezes. The menu is extensive, with our favorites being the chicken wings, nachos, tacos, and Cobb salad. The portions are generous, and every dish is freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. Considering the location, the prices are surprisingly reasonable. It’s a fantastic destination, especially when you have guests you’d like to impress with the region’s offerings. Parking is available either through valet service at the entrance of the Ritz Carlton or in a free parking building just past the hotel entrance. I rate this venue a perfect 10 for both food quality and location. If you visit in the evening, don’t miss the sunset celebration marked by the ringing of a bell. However, be aware that it can get quite busy in the early evening during the snowbird season, so it’s advisable to book in advance or arrive well ahead of time. The service and staff reflect the customer care principles and values upheld by the Ritz Carlton.
This place was awesome, right on the beach. Unfortunately the only night we could go there was a torrential downpour, but we went anyway. The food is amazing the service even better. Go for the sunset and enjoy the views.
