Loved it here. Came for a few drinks after a wedding reception. Staff was so nice and friendly. Drinks were very good and we did take out for supper. Food was excellent and good portions. Would love to go back. Very homey and fun place!
Gunners was our hub for a motorcycle trip from Canada for 4 days. The staff were very friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable on things to do in the area. Very friendly bunch, and I can't wait to go back again next year! The bar / restaurant has a great atmosphere and is a great spot to spend your evenings. The menu was impressive, and I tried a few items over the time I spent there and was happy with everything I had. The Inn was great, too, and had free parking, easy access to rooms, and the restaurant downstairs. Great location within walking distance to a lot of interesting places in town and good hub for driving out to lots of locations nearby. Overall, I am very impressed with Gunners. Highly recommend in all aspects.
Gunners is a must go to everytime we are in St. Mary's. The food is amazing, the prices are great and the owners are amazing! We 100% recommend going here for dinner, drinks and a friendly environment.
I ate at the restaurant last night on my birthday. The bartender, Genny, was so friendly and welcoming, really made my night that much better. The food was also very good. I can't speak to the quality of the actual hotel itself, but if it's as good as its restaurant, then it must be great!
I wanted to take a moment and say a few things about this wonderful place and the amazing, kind, generous and hardworking people that own it. I travel for work and come to Saint Mary’s PA often. I’m always hopeful that there are vacancies at Gunners. I’ll spare the long story, but the owners go out of their way to accommodate their guests. The rooms are cozy, the food is Fantastic, the location is as convenient as it can be. If you’re a person that appreciates “grinders” (hardworking people) as the owners put it, then you’ll appreciate this lovely place. I hope you all get the opportunity to enjoy their hospitality, incredible effort and overwhelming kindness.
Working out of town and the cobblestone recommended Gunners. Well it was a great referral. The delmonico steak was perfect and the hometown feel was better. It's nice to go to a restaurant and hear the staff talk with the local customers. I would definitely eat here again if I ever make it back up this way.
My first time here and it took along time for the food only because we had a whole softball family there and the whole experience was wonderful. If I'm ever in the area I would definitely eat there again. Considing the large crowd they did fantastic.
Went for dinner. They had live music. I highly recommend the pulled pork sandwich. My husband had the teriyaki chicken sandwich and said it was”decent”. Good spinach dip too!
