We always enjoy this restaurant and eat there often. Tonight at 4:30 the hostess asked if we had a reservation we said no. She told us okay but next time please make one because she has to redo her chart. Our server Brooke was amazing but watching the hostess eating her meal at the checking desk was not professional. We absolutely love the restaurant
Food took a little while longer than usual to arrive at no fault of the server, but everything was delivered together, hot, fresh and delicious! Fish fry was awesome with the perfect balance of crispy crunchy outside, cooked to perfection... without it being too over or under done like happens with many other places.
I loved the potato pancakes! The clam chowder was delicious, too.
The fish fry and patato pancakes were awesome!! Also the ramaki was great. I will recommend this to everyone.
Very good food. I’ve had the baked fish, chicken Marsala, Asian wrap and my favorite fried green beans. I usually eat in the bar. Good beer on tap selection. The dining area is a bit bright and institution like to me.
I was there with a large group for a Christmas lunch. Beautiful dining area with large windows overlooking the golf course. We were there on a Friday so, most of us had the fish fry. It is served with Cole slaw and a choice of side. I had sweet potato fries which they serve with a side of sweet sauce for dipping. Yummy lunch, great service and a beautiful setting.
We just returned from the Hickory Sticks Restaurant & had the Friday Fish Fry. It had to be among the BEST fish fry we have ever had! Both the cod & the beer batter fried were superb! The service was great, we DID have reservations, & our server was on top of it……we have never had such wonderful potato pancakes anywhere else, I promise….thanks for such an unforgettable meal!!
Fish fry was very good. 3 nice sized pieces of cod, a small cup of slaw and potatoe of choice along with warm marble rye bread. I had garlic mashed and wife had potatoe pancakes, both good as well. Started the meal with mozzarella marinera. 4 sticks wrapped in won ton and fried golden brown. Best I've had in a while. A nice place with a great view and food.
