We had our family reunion in town and showed up unannounced on a Thursday evening with roughly 25 to 30 guests. They quickly moved tables together to accommodate our large group, and one waitress went around and got everyone's order, first drink, then meal. I was towards the end of the rotation and half expected bad things to happen by the time my drink or food was brought. Nothing did. Everything went off without a hitch, I think everyone got exactly what they ordered, it was timely and the waitress was pleasant. I cannot recommend this establishment enough. Our group took up close to half the restaurant on a night probably not staffed for a crowd and they performed flawlessly. And, to top it off, they didn't force a total check (which I expected) or an automatic gratuity on us. The later of those probably helped out the staff as my meal came to under $25 with drink and I paid with a $100 bill and told her to keep the change. I have no doubt the rest of the group tipped similarly.
Pleasantly surprised, ordered the tilapia with rice and salad. Fish was delicious rice was perfect. Will visit when I'm town again.
Linda in the bar is amazing. Great service and makes the best drinks. Food is good. Atmosphere is fun but you can’t beat an amazing bar tender!
I visited this lovely local restaurant and bar for a weekday lunch upon recommendation from a colleague who lives nearby. Scrumptious food cooked in a timely manner, fast, attentive service staff, and inviting decor ensured I will visit again if in the area. Highly recommended!
I hope this isn't a duplicate. My phone is acting wonky. But this is one of the best places I have been in a long time. Their food is outstanding, their team is kind and respectful of everyone's tiniest needs. They go above and beyond to the point of even hand delivering a gift certificate to a son of mine who is miraculously recovering from a bad accident a long time ago as I live very far away. They even went out at night to make sure he got it before Christmas.
What a hidden Gem!! The Filet was delicious & very tender, cooked perfectly! The Apple Cider Cake is made by the bartender & wonderful! If passing through Parsons, KS make sure to visit Kitchen Pass! *****
I met my niece here for lunch. It is the halfway(ish) from her place in Oklahoma and Wichita. Our waitress was very cool and only checked on us when our water was low. We stayed four hours. Our steaks were cooked perfectly, pretty good flavor. And before any Kens or Karens get on here, I tipped extremely well for taking up a table that long, even though during the lunch rush, it did not fill up.
Great place! Great food! Great service! I may go back tomorrow! Had the catfish and it was really good!
