I absolutely loved this place! We started with the seafood dip — I expected it to be chunky because of the seafood, but it was surprisingly smooth and delicious. We had the salted caramel martini (10/10!) and some kind of rum punch that I can’t remember the name of — also a 10/10. Our waitress, who was also the bartender, was so sweet and had the best personality! My mom ordered the create-your-own bowl, and I had the shrimp linguine. The sauce was a bit runny, but since it’s a white wine sauce, that’s to be expected. The location is just perfect — we were able to dine with a lovely view of the patio and street, which made the whole experience even better.
We had a wonderful lunch here. We ordered the soup of the day, lobster rolls, and a 14oz ribeye steak — all of them were amazing, and we really enjoyed them. The server was very friendly. There aren’t many seats inside, but the outdoor seating is also nice, just with a few fly bugs around. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to try any desserts (I didn’t notice them on the menu), so hopefully I can taste them next time! Overall, we really liked this place.
I absolutely loved my experience at Local Station! The lobster dip was incredible, the brie cheese was delicious, and the Surf & Top steak was cooked to perfection. The quality of the food was outstanding — everything was rich in flavor and beautifully prepared. Highly recommend this place!
My husband and I came in for lunch on Saturday. Our server was one of the best I have ever encountered, she was attentive had great recommendations she recommended lobster rolls and a wine pairing and the combination was so yummy even my husband enjoyed it he’s very picky but she picked up on that and made an outstanding recommendation. We had the charcuterie board as an appetizer and it was amazing I’ve truly never been to a restaurant that had such a knowledgeable staff and whose food was equally as delicious I wish they had normal French fries or a broader variety of items but from what we tried and our server Bri will be back 100 times over! Make sure to ask for Bri as your server she was just darling and was very knowledgeable about the menu and even offered us different drinks to pair with different items! Just a wonderful experience!
As usual the food is delicious! I've only been here 2 other times & I was with another adult. I didn't realize, as many locals may already know, this is not necessarily somewhere that is family focused. As in, they don't have highchairs or a kids menu which is kind of unfortunate. However, I still give a 5 star review because the chef went above & beyond. He was willing to make a off the menu grilled cheese for my toddler which she continuously claimed was "Yummy" We'll definitely be back... next time we'll get a sitter but overall it was a great experience.
I've lived in Winder for 7yrs and today was the first day my husband and I tried it. We were NOT disappointed! This place was AMAZING! We came in at almost 3pm on Memorial Day. It was busy but not terrible, we were seated right away. We opted for inside seating since it was a bit warm outside. Our server Brook was AMAZING! All her recommendations were spot on DELICIOUS! Brook suggested their Spring Drink menu, the lavender lemon martini, which was INCREDIBLE! We decided to each get a meal and a 3rd to share since there were so many things we wanted to try. I had read previous reviews before going and everyone raved about the lobster rolls amd shrimp risotto with garlic white wine sauce. Brook suggested the local station bowl with steak, mushroom risotto and garlic white wine sauce. Since my husband isn't a seafood fan, we opted for her suggestions for our shared meal. I had the lobster roll and my husband had the Jack's fingers aka chicken strips. The local station bowl was incredible! The risotto mixed with the garlic white wine sauce.... chef's kiss delicious! The steak was a nice pairing but next time I'm totally getting it with the shrimp lol. The lobster roll was very good, a bit pricey with it being $22 for 1 roll and a side of house made chips, but I'm glad I tried it. My husband's chicken fingers were DELICIOUS! You could tell they were hand breaded and fresh NOT frozen! We also decided to get 2 desserts to go. Their desserts are rotated throughout the week, so the cannolis which looked amazing on another person's review was not available. We needed up getting the coconut cheesecake and the oreo cheesecake to go. Brook suggested the oreo one. Both were AMAZING! We will definitely be back!
My husband discovered this place recently and decided to give it a try 2 days ago. Little did we know, we discovered our new favorite restaurant!!! The place is very cozy and cute, not too big. The staff is super friendly as well. Our waiter, Logan was super sweet, attentive and made the best recommendations for our family. Our favorites were the lobster dip, the potatoes au gratin (to die for!!!!) , the burgers were also delicious! My husband and I love a good old fashion and this was one of the best we’ve ever had. Just a suggestion for the old fashion, they would be even better if they were smoked but they were perfect regardless!!!! Thank you, Logan for going above and beyond for our family, we had a great experience and we highly recommend this place!!!!! You just gained some loyal customers and we’ll bring more friends
I was in the area with the puppers. We stopped for a quick bite for lunch. The staff was very friendly and brought water for my dog and gave him plenty of pets. The California Fish Tacos were delicious !
