If you want food to go and don't want to pay a $6 cover charge to the bar. You have to go through the side door. This takes you to the back of the kitchen. I've seen many kitchens. Some clean some not so clean. This was right in the middle. But dirty kitchens is where some of the best food comes from. Food was very good.I just wish I didn't see where it came from.

The green curry and fried rice were amazing! The setting surprised us, the restaurant is a walk up window in a bar. They did have tables off to the side where you could eat. Nice people and good food. I’d go back!

After 9 pm, use the back door because the bar has a cover charge. Food is great! I would definitely recommend the Drunken Noodle dish.

Inside Tony's. Walk in and turn right and you'll find the order counter. You can tell which tables are with the restaurant based on the tablecloth but you can sit anywhere in the bar and they'll bring your food out to you. If you eat in, they'll give you a bottle of water as well. The green curry with chicken ($16.75) was really good. I was pleasantly surprised by the ginger and bamboo (not much of either in the other Thai in Fairbanks) and how tender the chicken was (also a rare find in Fairbanks). If you can get over it being in a bar, it was actually really good. Service wasn't particularly good. It was friendly, but he seemed surprised someone was eating there and not in the bar. There was also a lot of takeout going on from the place so I got forgotten but eh, it's in a bar.

Mom's Kitchen has catered for more than one company party of ours - we love them! The food is delicious, amazing portion sizes, and super nice customer service. Best late-night take out in Fairbanks!

The most unassuming Thai eatery we have ever encountered but rest assured the food is authentic, very well prepared, super generous and reasonably priced. This is not fine dining but you’ll eat very well here. Our favourite had to be the coconut shrimp and pad Thai. The pineapple fried rice (whether with beef or shrimp) was excellent. Brandon who took care of us is the nicest kid around. We enjoyed both the lunch and dinner we ate here.

If you think Fairbanks doesn’t have good food? Mama’s Kitchen proves that wrong immediately. This place is hands-down my favorite stop anytime I’m in town. I don’t even live in Fairbanks, but the second I know I’m heading up there, I’m already planning my order. And I order a lot every single time. The Tom Yum wings are non-negotiable. They’re crispy, packed with bold citrusy manageable heat, and have that perfect balance of sour, spicy, and savory that hits every time. Not sometimes. Every time. They’re the kind of wings you think about later. Beyond that, everything I’ve tried has been consistently flavorful and comforting. The dishes taste fresh, vibrant, and made with care. I really love Thai food and quite a picky eater and this place seriously hits. Mama’s Kitchen is the spot that makes you rethink what you expect from food in Alaska. If you’re in Fairbanks and skip this place, you’re seriously missing out. Fairbanks overall has really great Thai restaurants, this is one of the top for me. Anytime I’m up here, Mama’s Kitchen is the move. Always.

We ate here for lunch and were totally stunned by the place. Yes, it is located IN THE BACK of a DIVE BAR. However, the service and food stand out from typical dive bar fare. The waiter was a shy but fun young man - I think he was probably Mom's son. Mom came out and brought us our food, but didn't speak much English and very cutely 'figured out' who's food belonged to which person. It was adorable and entertaining! Our food was delicious and the service was impeccable.
