Spillway Diner

Ordered to go. Was able to order immediately after walking in and the food was ready in less than 10 mins. Hand cut fries were so good and the Philly cheesesteak on toast was the best I’ve had in a long time. The girl working the register was nice and attentive and the price was very reasonable. Everything was perfect.

Great breakfast spot! Since opening the management has progressively updated the layout and the menu. The omelette’s are really tasty and fluffy. Great service. Clean. Good atmosphere. Open early.

Everything was great, the servers were great and the cooks were very friendly and everything was promptly done, loved the atmosphere of the place. The food was good, and I would recommend this place to everyone, but you know how different people make things differently, I just prefer a rue based tomato gravy and theirs is more sauce based, but I cleaned my plate regardless...

Great little greasy spoon spot! Quick service, good comfort food, coffee was so so but the food made up for that. The stuffed hashbrowns were awesome and I highly recommend! It seems like most items where cheese is included, the standard is American cheese. As American cheese is pretty much plastic, I was thankful they subbed cheddar no problem. We’ll be back on occasion.

Little busy, must be good huh. Great diner atmosphere, you can hear the food being prepared.

I had an extremely excellent breakfast. My family and I were moving from Arkansas to Alabama and due to recent flooding in some areas, we had to travel through Ridgeland Mississippi to skip some flooded areas. We stopped by this diner to eat breakfast and everything was cooked fresh and perfectly. We were warmly greeted, seated and our order was promptly taken. Every item tasted flavorful,the chef was very accommodating .

This was by far the friendliest and most attentive staff I have ever had the pleasure of meeting! Valencia (I am definitely spelling that incorrectly) was absolutely charming! She laughed and danced with my wife and me to 60s and 70s music and made us feel so special! the food was just a blessing as well! Jermaine (again, probably butchering the spelling) is a magician at that grill! I've not had an omelet that was even close to as good as the one he whipped up! And those all-the-way hash browns? Spectacular! Please do yourself a favor and get your whole family down to the Spillway Diner...it's a diamond in the rough, and we need it to stay around a long, long time! PS: they serve WAY more than breakfast! They have wings, chicken fried steak, pork chops, catfish, red beans and rice, and all kinds of deliciousness that can satisfy any craving!

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of food here! Totally trumps that other waffle place. Eggs were yummy. Country Fried Steak with gravy delicious. Waffle was sweet and French toast was good. We will be back to taste more.
