Spillway Drive-In

We had sundaes after we fished the spillway. It was great to have an outdoor hand washing station right there. The canopies helped us to not get wet in the light rain.

Great place for family or if you just need something quick to cool off with. Usually busy in the Summer months. Most the staff is great but there is one girl there this year that is not a people person

Good and fresh food! Ice cream is excellent. The view of Spirit Lake is nice too. Lots goes on in this little area. Next to the fish hatchery too. Nice place to learn a little bit too.

A great place to grab a quick bite and enjoy the lake. The young man working patiently endured my sister's myriad menu questions. He was very polite and knowledgeable. The food was fine and hit the spot as we enjoyed the view. We were even treated to a guest appearance of a bald eagle!!! How cool is that!

They have the best chili cheese fries. Have only been there a couple of times but will certainly make it a regular stop this summer. There is usually a line to order your food, but the wait is minimal.

My husband and I shared a generous serving of cheese curds which were more than enough for the both of us. I ordered the burger and requested veggies...I wasn't expecting sweet pickles on my burger, but that is how they serve them here. My husband had the chili cheese dog. The chili was too sweet for his liking, but if you have a sweet tooth, this place is for you!

Came tonight, it was relatively busy. Had our order up in less than 4 minutes. It was simple ice cream sandwich and a cone. Not gourmet but that's not expected at a drive in happy with service and product. You get all the lake and spillway free. Great place and away from the hustle of Okoboji.

Love the flavor burst ice cream cones, while I haven't tried everything on the menu, we have enjoyed everything we have tried so far. Cute snack shack place by lake.
