It’s clean. Unlike a lot of other places you feel a dinginess. This one is actually clean. The food is above par considering the cost. We didn’t have to send the steak back for wrong temp which is a win in itself. They actually got it right. And it’s affordable. The staff was pleasant and friendly. The same meal would have cost me more anywhere else. And it’s clean!!!!!!!!!!! They serve breakfast all day. You can fill up on the salad bar. It’s stocked and kept clean so it doesn’t look like a hog trough. Usually I hate those things but it actually looks nice. Overall it was a win. We got good food at a good price with friendly service and a smile.
Ate last week here and had the soup and salad bar. It was the best salad bar I have had in years. The salad makings were fresh and plentiful. The soups were bean and noodle. The bean soup was a vegetably soup with a good broth, similar to a minestrone soup without the noodles. The noodle had three different types of noodles in a rich broth. Salad bar even had pasta salad and potato salad. Great food. Liked it so much, had to go back today. Sandwiches and lunch items start about 11AM, but breakfast items are served all day.
I can’t say enough good about this hidden gem. My best friend and I were on a girls road trip and decided to stop here after going to the Umbrella Alley in Louisville. We were greeted and seated immediately. It’s a beautiful restaurant. Very clean. Michelle was our server and she went above and beyond for us. Everyone in there was so friendly. With the meals you get one trip to the soup and salad bar. Everything was fresh and it was around 5pm when we went. They play a wide variety of music. We got the Swiss Steak. It was unbelievably tender. No need for a knife. So much food. The prices were great. We will definitely stop in again. I would give this place an eleven out of ten.
I have eaten at varieties many times over the last months, and each visit has been a delight. The food is always fresh and tasty and the presentation never disappointing. The service is equally as impressive. My coffee cup has never been empty for all the visits at this location. I have rediscovered this restaurant after it has been renovated inside and I couldn’t be a more satisfied customer than what I am . But I certainly don’t want to leave out the unsung heroes, who are the cooks who prepare the food to perfection. Bravo to everyone.
Very good salad bar, but no meat. Hard boiled eggs for protein, which are very good. Small variety but sufficient to make a great salad. Diner food. Breakfast all day. Popular with the locals. Most of the staff is friendly.
The restaurant is a typical diner; it’s not elegant or trendy, just tables and chairs with sparse seasonal decor. Pleasant enough for a lunchtime experience. The staff is friendly and accommodating and the prices are reasonable in terms of today’s economy. The food is typical American food with an emphasis on homey cooking. If you’re looking for a comfortable place to dine with your carnivore friends for breakfast or lunch, it’s an inviting stop. The issue I have is that it doesn’t have anything to offer plant-based diners except a salad bar, if you choose strategically. In late 2025, my feeling is… change with the times. Offer Just Eggs with your Eggbeaters and real eggs, for instance. Make a BLT with tofu slices. Offer a plant-based stir fry or veggie wrap. We who eat a vegan diet would appreciate one or two choices. We don’t expect much. Otherwise, it’s a pleasant dining experience and my carnivore friends seem to really like it.
Great food and good service. Like the fact that they have an all you can eat bar,the sad part is you can only get it one time and it doesn't come with every meal. Besides that great food and atmosphere ,we been here twice within one week. I highly recommend this place for a cozy seat down.
Excellent little restaurant. Prices are very affordable and the food is delicious. Generous portions and the staff is extremely friendly. Great place to grab a bite to eat and catch up.
