I often go there for breakfast. You order at a counter and you get your food rather quickly and freshly prepared on a paper plate. So it's certainly not the place to bring a date but certainly a good place to have a quick bite. The omelets are pretty good but there are variations. One time I got an extremely well done western omelet, the other time an ok one where the onions were a little bit raw. The coffee you need to buy by the cup and comes in paper cups. The atmosphere is at least at breakfast very so so. But if you are hungry and would like a hearty bite fast without a dining experience, this might work out very well for you.
We dropped by this little place after shopping at the nearby Wilson Farm. The food was great, ingredients were top notch, service was very personalized. They paid careful attention to my food allergies. Will return.
First time eating at Villa Largo last Wednesday at 5 pm. Arrived just before 5 on a freezing cold night, door was open and they let me sit at the bar and wait for my 2 friends to join me. Ordered a dry vodka martini with a twist, served chilled just right. Our waitress was super patient and attentive despite our non focus on ordering. I ordered the fish and risotto. Good portion size and tasty. Friends ordered a burger with side salad. salad.
Good food. Nicely balanced. I had the Greek salad and my companions had quiche (served with a salad) and veggie tacos (also with salad). A little loud but we were able to converse. The men’s bathroom is down stairs so I don’t know what they do for handicapped people
Nice menu, outdoor seating in Lexington center. I had an appetizer and glass of wine which was enough for dinner along with a delicious roll. Generous pour for the wine. I'm looking forward to returning soon!
I had red cabbage coleslaw, Salmon grilled (in deli), rice rio, broccoli Quiech. All very very delicious, and fresh. Cookies are AMAZING!!! Customer service was attentive & warm. Portions were great size. I ate most of my food before I photo.
Visited for the first time and enjoyed it quite a bit. Our waitress was excellent, very friendly and attentive. The food was good. I had the Acorn Squash Risotto which came with scallops. The scallops were perfect but there were bites of the risotto that was slightly undercooked. My wife got the pasta with chicken and butternut squash. It was delicious. I would get it again. For dessert we had a nice bread pudding. The clientele leans toward the retirement crowd. I believe we were the youngest guests by a good margin, but the atmosphere doesn’t reflect that and I left a little confused why there weren’t more families eating there. On top of good food and friendly service, the prices were reasonable. Entrees were almost all under $25. Bottom line, Via Lago is worth a visit.
Very nice restaurant in a great location. Pleasant atmosphere and interior decor, comfortable outdoor seating. Fresh food in generous portions. Pity they use disposables instead of real dishes and utensils. Good service, fair prices. Very good experience overall :-)
