The chicken katsu is bomb! (Coming from someone who’s eaten a lot of katsu) Will definitely be back to try other things.

Amazing food, supper quick and clean. Chill dude running the cart, i’ve only gone a few times so far but he already recognizes me and we talk. The Beef teriyaki and chicken cutlet are fire, and the cutlet curry is also good and unique Great place!

Check photos for updated menu prices & I highly recommend the chicken cutlet over rice. They offer three different sauces and the owner is very nice.

My first time trying out this food cart next to Baruch College and I love it! I got chicken cutlet for $9 and it was served fast, is crispy, juicy, and has teriyaki and spicy mayo sauces on top. Good portion size too (it comes with rice and salad.) The owner was very kind as well. Highly recommend!

This is the go-to when on campus, can’t go wrong with the chicken teriyaki platter. Fills you up, owner is very friendly, does not skimp out on the portions or sauces, and there is little to no wait time.

Good food at a decent price. It’s a food cart so service is quick. They allow small modifications like removing a sauce or the salad. Only thing I can complain about is a small bone in the chicken at peak hours and a subpar workflow where if there’s a lot of people they’ll make 3-4 orders before anybody can get their food.

Cube 55 is a Japanese takeout food cart. it is a small cart in front of Baruch’s bookstore. the cart is a one-man show that serves up a small menu over Japanese dishes. this cart is pretty busy bc most of the customers are from Baruch College. ordered the Chicken cutlet over rice packed with a small salad. the chicken cutlet is nice and crispy—and fried fresh. the cutlet is get drizzle of tonkatsu sauce, and Japanese spicy Mayo. the rice is fluffy and soaks up the sauces and chicken cutlet juices. and the salad gets a light white sauce. for food cart food, i was really satisfied. filling, flavorful, and savory. the chicken cutlet over rice, $8 + tip. the cook / owner is friendly and nice. originally, i was going to get the Japanese curry over rice, but he ran out of it. but he gave me a little of what was leftover with my order.

I had teriyaki chicken the first time, because they ran out of chicken cutlet. It was good. I went earlier in the day and ordered chicken cutlet with teriyaki sauce and spicy mayo. Wow it was amazing! Quick service and the guy is friendly. Would try the curry chicken next time!
