Moon Vietnamese Restaurant & Convenience Store

I am not one to leave a review on restaurants but Moon is truly something special. What seems like an unassuming convenience store is serving up the best pho, banh mi, and spring rolls in the area. The owner always remembers me and treats customers exceptionally well. If you haven’t been here you need to try it out!

The food here it’s amazing! The flavors are amazing! We stayed in Connecticut for 4 nights and we came to this restaurant 3 times. My husband and I had the Pho Special the first day and the broth was flavorful and rich! I finished all of my Pho and my bowl was clean! Drunk every bit of broth and ate every morsel of food in my bowl! Everything was so fresh and delicious! Thu was amazingly personable and friendly. She has such positive vibes and great energy. She was a wonderful host and cook!! The Barbecue Pork Sandwich was great! The outside of the Bahn Mi was crispy and the inside soft. Her prices are very reasonable! If we are ever back in this area, we will most definitely eat here again!! Also it’s a nice little convenience store. We purchased many things to take back home Thank you Thu for being a wonderful person and host!! May Buddha continue to bless you and your business and bless you and your family.

If you're looking for a new Pho spot, you found it! This place is a little hidden gem, you're not going to sit down and be wined and dined, but you will enjoy every last savory drop of that Pho goodness. This isn't some slapped together noodle soup either, everything is made with care. Even the iced coffee made with instant coffee was delicious. So stop reading! Go! Go! Now! You won't regret it.

I got the chicken pho, crab rangoons, and the Vietnamese ice coffee. Everything was delicious. The pho was fresh, flavorful and filling! The rangoons were crunchy on the outside and creamy and delicious in the center! The Vietnamese ice coffee the first sip had me addicted, it’s creamy and rich, with a nice bold flavor. The woman behind the counter was very nice and welcoming, overall the service, food and atmosphere is unmatched, I will definitely be back!

I'm honestly so shocked we have such high quality Vietnamese food in this area! I'm not a fan of the other popular Viet eats in this nook of the state and this has been on my list to visit for a while as I'm about 15 mins away. I CANNOT recommend this enough! My fiancè ordered a 2nd bahn mi right after eating his first because it was SO good! Literally the best we've ever had. I got the Pho special and it was 10/10! We're lucky to have such a gem of a restaurant here and will be returning again soon!

BEST PHO IN CT! We stopped here on our way home from vacation and it was incredibly delicious. Served piping hot and gave me the nourishment I was seeking all week. I already had three orders of #16 placed to go but after eating one order at the restaurant, I had to order another two for later in the week. The owner was so gracious and thoughtful. Packaged my order for later in the week by keeping the meat frozen and gave me instructions on how to prepare for when I eat. I am not close (30 min away), but I will be sure to make more trips here to get my bulk orders to go again soon!

I drove and pass by here not knowing what's inside the store, but when a friend said oh I got my Pho soup at that convenience store. I just had to check it out, I came for the first time for a take out, then 2nd time I took my family for a birthday Pho, Our Asian tradition to eat long noodles for a long life. It was very delicious everyone had enjoyed and was stuffed afterwards with big portions. I had #19 which was the beef flanks with a summer roll, not on the menu but if your familiar with Vietnamese food you can asked if She makes it. Very friendly store owner, chit chat with her for a bit just like I would with a friend. If you enjoy Pho, try Ms. Moon's. I love Pho!!! ENJOY.

Came in for some Bahn mi and this place did not disappoint! Delicious fresh sandwiches. We ordered 2 pork and a beef. Excellent service! Cute little convenient store/restaurant. Will stop in again next time we’re in the area.
