Really great spot to stop for a quick lunch. Ordered two bagels, and they were huge! Had to be at least a pound each loaded with toppings. Fresh ingredients, the bagels sandwiches were really good. Highly recommend
Home made! Holy moly tons of meat. Delicious sandwiches. Great and kind staff. Must stop!!!!
Oh my gosh, I can't imagine why the reviews are so bad! Shame on you for complaining about the time it took, or that the bagel wasn't toasted enough or even the price! We had such an amazing experience just 2 weeks ago visiting Oregon. Party of 6, got the most delicious, nutritious, fresh huge sandwiches we've ever eaten. They even accommodated all our special requests (and there were quite a few, no mayo, more pickles, less tomato, etc.). The lox with capers was to die for! The couple that were there were so gracious and hospitable. It took a while to make the meal but it was SO worth it once we had it on the table. Take a look at the pictures as they speak 1000 words! We had our dog with us and they even brought out a bowl of water for her! I would highly recommend taking the time to go.
The homemade lox was flavorful and delicious, with a mild tang and great texture. I got a custom, plentiful amount of cream cheese and the bagels were fresh off the oven. Owners were sweet and inquisitive. I think this place is a real gem and I definitely do not echo the opinions some people are voicing about the place.
This place has amazing sandwiches! This afternoon I got the Cannonball and it was delicious. Not to mention, the people here were phenomenal. Went in for a lunch for my wife and I and walked out with some treats for my dog Maizie as well. People were so friendly and the conversation was great. Will make sure to visit during my next trip into town. For those complaining about the prices, you get what you pay for. And for the price I couldn’t find better around.
My husband and I decided to check this place out after walking back down from Haystack Rock since we were hungry but didn’t want a huge meal. We were greeted by the friendly employees/owner and chatted for a bit. The food was simple but delicious. We wanted to come back before we left but didn’t have time. We will definitely be back next time we visit the coast!
I just had the Wave sandwich. It was huge! And so good! The people working inside were very nice as well. Really good spot if you want a big sandwich.
First off, when you see the old Pepsi sign menu, you know the food is gonna slap! Friendly mom and pop shop with great food. The Salmon bagel and Rueben bagel were both amazing with loads of meat. The rocky road and mountain bar coffees which had tons of flavor and served hot. Service was great and the man serving the bagels was very friendly toward us and our baby. Better than the monk place across the way.
