Wow!!! They have something special here. Their bread is amazing!!! I brought my father and he said it’s taste like his childhood bakery in Mexicali (but here is better) almost 80 years ago. We left with such big smiles on our faces. Definitely the BEST bread around!! Such a special place!!! The smell as you walk in—memorable
This is a hidden gem of a bakery in the hills of Rosarito just before you enter the town. There was a line of cars to buy boliillos, teleras, cemitas and conchas. Although that's all they had, the line was already there at 10am! The owner talks to you while you are in line and gives you a sample of the bolillos that were very tasty and the conchas have that old style cinnamon and orange taste I remember from when I was growing up in Tijuana in the 70s. It's definitely worth a visit. They also have a little cafeteria outside so you can sip your coffee while you are in line. .
Indeed rustic bakery; small locale. Limited choices of Pan Dulce; however, what I tasted was superb! Their bread is flavorful with just a hint of sweet! Their baguettes are melt-in-your-mouth delicious! The street to get to the bakery is unpaved and very rough. Drive slowly.
We're glad we stopped the bakery we went in this morning for the birote and came out with birote and cinnamon bread with 2 cups of coffee. We we're greeted with smiles and pieces of birote to try. Humble and really friendly panaderos! We'll definitely go again. Saludos para los panaderos y a la señorita en la caja. Somos los que hablo con mi esposa de Guadalajara.
To be honest I've never been there but just checking out the videos and seeing the people who wait in line the artesian of the workers you can clearly see the it's maid with love and until the next one. Hey why not early in the year sleep well, balance the meals, your favorite exercise routine and enjoy life...
We were in the area and made a trip out to Casa Nagu and so glad we did. My son loves bolillo-but who doesn’t-right! We were welcomed by the baker-the kindest person ever. He offered us a taste of everything he had and talked to us about the pan. We bought bolillos for tortas and a little bit of everything he had. The bolillo was the best. Beautiful crust and perfect flavor. The young woman at the register was super nice as well. Even if this visit was simply to buy the delicious bolillo the kindness and welcome from the owner and staff made it a stand out from our trip.
This has to be the best bakery i have been to in my entire life. No joke worth the 45 minute wait... and I dont like any waits
an exceptional artisan birote (baguette-style) bread. the taste is definitely worth the drive.
