This Italian pastry shop has a very Italian flavor, is affordable and tastes good
The cafe is like an oasis in a busy city. Also, very good coffee and food. I tried a marmalade tart.
Donatella Salento Bakery – Rustic Italian Charm I stopped by Donatella Salento Bakery and was pleasantly surprised. The place is inviting, with a warm, modern design that still feels authentically Italian. Their specialty, the Rustico Leccese, is a must-try: a flaky puff pastry filled with creamy béchamel, tomato, mozzarella, and a hint of black pepper. It’s perfect for a quick snack any time of day. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the prices are reasonable—there’s even a combo deal with a drink. Whether you’re looking for a light lunch or just a tasty bite while exploring the city, this bakery is worth a visit.
I’ve been here at least four times now and tried different things each time and always been delighted with how tasty it is. From bread to focaccia to deserts (especially the cheesecake!) it really is a taste of Italy here in Barcelona. I will be a regular customer! Sometimes I even get given something tasty to try for free!
This shop was an amazing!! Great food and right below our flat for our stay. Amazing service and super friendly every time we visited. If you see a line, it’s worth the wait! We went every day for either breakfast or a late night snack. If you get a chance, definitely try the cheesecake, tiramisu or the cannoli. I’ll be back to Barcelona just for that!!!
The best bread and focaccia in all of Barcelona. They are kind and just the best. If you miss bread from France or Italy. This is the best you can find.
I had a pizza and a cafe with milk, total was 5:85 and absolutely worth it and I really loved the atmosphere and the location, the lady was lovely and great with hospitality, Definitely visit again!
Carla, the owner, is very friendly and welcoming. The food and coffee is delicious, I could eat there every day. The location is amazing. In the heart of the gothic quarter but just off a main street where you’re able to escape the crowds.
