The owners are very friendly and helpful. All their baked goods and tamales are delicious too!
That was a nice place. With good reeasonable prices. The cake that was chocolate was good, the mileage of my drive, didn't take me half across the city. Thought the donuts a be brillent to try. Yet I picked the cake. Once I tried a donut shop on CaliforniaStreet, in chicago, illlinios that sale the same stuff. The potato chips were good, in the price that was there, so was the soda. I'd first tried the sugar bread there, in a hispanic restruant then an place else, I suppose. Anyhow have a great day..
Most nicest people their food is amazing as a bonus
Everything is delicious, never disappoints! From tamales which are fabulous to rosca de reyes A little gem on Joliet. The service is great, its a family locally owned and they are great people
One of my favorite bakeries! Good sweet bread and pasteries!
Tamaleria Sanchez is a little neighborhood shop that serves up great tamales. I've occasionally gotten baked goods but the reason I drive to the other end of Joliet is the tamales. My favorite are the pollo verde which are flavorful with a nice kick of heat that doesn't overwhelm the flavor. The food is strictly carry out, there's no place to eat. Currently they are requiring masks (signs in English and Spanish) and asking for social distancing.
Lot's of fun, very energetic place. Don't go here for a quiet intimate dinner. It was great family fun. We did the fry table. Chef was awesome!
I bought tres de leche cake for my son’s 3rd bday. It was delicious! Moist & milky. Great flavor. I added strawberries in the middle of the cake as well, which was amazing. I also bought the drink “Champurrado” and tamales while I was over there, which were also really good. Small place with a small parking lot but well worth the visit.
