I stopped at The Loaf & Lounge for breakfast on my way to Warrnambool for work and it was so nice! The staff were lovely, it was a beautiful atmosphere first thing in the morning and the food was fresh and delicious

I tried the smashed avocado and eggs your way, and both were delicious! I love sour flavors, so I really enjoyed the slight tanginess of the smashed avocado. But, one of my breads was too small, so I had to eat my partner’s breads. The coffee was great too, and if you have a sweet tooth, the raspberry and almond dessert is a fantastic choice.

This is a very clean, if expensive, bakery where whenever I've visited, the staff are friendly. Nonetheless, tasty though their pasties are, sometimes their pies are overcooked. Still, they don't utilize too much oil which is good. I guess you get what you pay for. Cheaper pastries would probably be poor quality

Amazing cafe and great coffee! There is a tall and very pretty staff who took our order, she is extremely friendly and energetic, she is the soul of the cafe. This cafe has ample seats and great for coffee and a bite. They also have cakes!

I’m pleased I ignored the bad reviews and chose this restaurant for lunch today. The young girl who served us was delightful, we chose to have a pie for lunch, mine being beef and mushroom..my husband chose the scallop pie, it was a bit gluggy, but as I said to him that they are always like that, not sure why they don’t make the sauce creamier. One thing with this cafe there is plenty to choose from for lunch and a great variety of cakes and bread, they even have some pantry essentials. I loved the decor, and if it always this good I would definitely recommend.
