I LOVE the vibe of this place! It takes you back in time while the coffee warms your heart. The baristas are very friendly. Make sure you check out the posters in the back for local events and news. One of my favorite coffee spots for sure!
Big, like rooominous high ceiling large room big. But still somehow tiny coffee shop feel, like your conversations stay in this cozy nice bubble. Bagels with lox is something I have to try to give it a better thought. And the egg sandwich. Espresso drinks are gooood. But I'm a tea guy, so I always want more variety there.
Good coffee and very open and airy atmosphere, lots of tables to sit at, there’s even a loft. From what I can understand it’s in an old bank, which is kinda cool, the safe is upstairs in the loft, there tall ceiling and huge windows. Definitely a good place to come do some work or study. There were no lounge type seating fyi. There is also pastries and light lunch fare here
Beautiful inside!!!!! They grind their own beans and bake their pastries in house (also offer large selection of local flavored syrups). Environment was very welcoming and building just has that old time charm. Can’t wait to go back. P.S., don’t forget to pay for your street parking- unless it’s Sunday.
Coffee and food was great, atmosphere is awesome, but not having the prices listed with the items is misleading and you won’t know how much it costs until paying
This place is overall solid. I had the almond croissant, and it was amazing. The atmosphere was incredible. The music was especially nice, with classical pieces playing the whole time I was there. The service was good as well. I would definitely recommend it!
When you walk in, the vibe is a quiet one with music playing to relax the soul while you sit and work on that special project. They sell all types of coffee, that tickle the tastebuds. The Carmel Frappe is not too sweet with a rich flavor. While exploring the Uptown Carrollton District, Check it out!
Been looking at this place for decades? but never stepped inside. After stepping inside, it looks dark (even after lighting) and old. Add the age to the melancholy classical music and the atmosphere is somewhat of a downer.. Anyway the coffe is pretty good. Cafe Noir is good French dark roast that they sell. They have an assortment of espresso. They have some bagels. It looks like most people are students or people wanting free wifi. Pretty good. Maybe consider remodeling
