Overall experience was pretty good! We both got the Italian Beef sandwich and it was very tasty! Big portions, great flavor and fun atmosphere. I can see me and some friends hanging there for a while. The tap beer menu is a good size and tastes fresh. Couple things about the service. Our waitress didn’t know the answer to any of our questions. We had never been here before and had basic questions and also asked for recommendations and she couldn’t help. That caught us off guard. Also would help to not roll your eyes at us when we ask how much a cocktail is, that happened as well. The service was also pretty slow. Would I go back, yes.
Have not been there in years. Amazing tenderloin and pizza. Mariah was great server!!!!!
Went on a holiday Sunday night. Place was busy. Two servers working hard. We sat out on the patio and had beers and pizza. The bacon cheese fries were great. The pizza was great. Beautiful night, cold beer, good food. Tough to beat.
Fried chicken gizzards done right! Not many places you can get gizzards, and when you do, they’re usually so tough you can’t eat em. Not here! These gizzards are prepped and fried to perfection! I highly recommend the Angle Inn’s fried gizzards. Get em, you’ll be glad you did.
I had the Rachel which isn't often on the menu with the Reuben. It was delicious as were the homemade chips.
I live out in the country,so there are not many places to dine out,I've driven past this place many times going into Cedar Rapids,it was lunch time,so I decided I'm going to stop here today,my wife and I are extremely happy we stopped,the service was great,the food was delicious,I had a French Dip,so good,I can't remember what my wife had,I was enjoying mine too much,I can't wait to go back. If you're looking for a great meal,I highly recommend this place! Oh yeah,the Margaritas are great also!
We asked our hosts at the B&B where to get a good burger and this place was recommended as the "best hamburger" our host had ever eaten. We agree 100%.
Pretty busy on Friday and Saturday nights. About a 50/50 mix of people eating and drinking in the early evenings. Food is great, nachos are huge! No kids menu, but they do have high chairs and kid friendly food to order from the appetizer menu. Good beer selection and wait staff is very good. If you like wings, get them here. They're outstanding...not fatty or greasy. Homemade potato chips are also great.
