Excellent service in a homey buffet, with live music to boot. The food was some of the tastiest we’ve had in CDMX, and thanks to it being a buffet, we’ve all left very sated. The server was super friendly and remembered us across a couple visits, even going so far as to accomodating our vegan friend with a tailor made dish. Will absolutely come back whenever we’re around.
I had the full breakfast here, with “chocolate de agua,” hierbabuena juice, fruit plate, and chicken mole. It was some of the best food I’ve had anywhere in Mexico, and that’s saying a lot. Especially the chocolate which I’m very picky about because I have a cacao business and like a drink to be thick, and only lightly spiced and sweetened. The mole had a smokey flavor how I like it. The server was also friendly and welcoming. And I had a window view down to the street. I hope to return!
once again in this restaurant that we visit every year we come to Mexico City
We were very lucky to find this place. We had a very delicious lunch with super nice live music and perfect service. We can recommend to everyone to try out this restaurant!
Great traditional Mexican food with excellent service.
A little bit unassuming from the street, we walked up the stairs into a lovely, cozy restaurant space. Live music playing for the Friday lunch hour. Lots of people relaxing with dark beer micheladas. Oversized, stuffed, and sweet Chile en nogada on the specials menu was rich and filling. Chicken enchiladas were smothered in perfectly spicy red sauce with tender stewed chicken inside. Great spot for lunch!
Been here a few times and the food has always been delicious! They even have a daily changing menu of the day that is super filling. Service always amazing, and a special mention to Victor who made the effort to have a friendly conversation with me and wish me the best for my travels.
Recommended for someone who wants to experience a local but chill atmosphere. The waiters are very good and they are speaking English. The food is delicious!
