This place has a very country feel to it as you walk into the establishment. It is a bar and grill with a buffet. The food like the Mac and cheese with brisket was just a delicious as the fried chicken and salad bar. The bathroom was clean and cute. The atmosphere is friendly, family oriented and also suitable for a night out with friends. The wait staff is very friendly. Just don't forget to bring your cash or check as the don't accept credit cards though they do have an atm inside.
Great place to stop for lunch! My wife and I get their pork tenderloin sandwich and it's fantastic every time! The service is about as prompt as it could possibly be and their lunch specials are a great value for what you get as well! You just can't beat $2.50 for a cheeseburger (Mondays)! Both of our kiddos had one and they loved them! We stop on our way through town to visit family, every year, and this place never disappoints! We'll be back again!
Small town vibe. Good eats. We started with a basket of fried livers. They were tasty. Tripple smash burger with the Charleston toppings and a breaded tenderloin sandwich with fries, which we split between us. It was all very good. Will definitely visit again. I want to try the chicken.
We had a great time eating at the bar. The breaded tenderloin was less than $10 and so crispy and flavorful. We couldn't decide on just 1 app so we ordered the Combo basket and it did not disappoint. Highly highly recommend this place.
The smash Burger is very well seasoned and the definition of a great greasy burger. The curly fries are good as well not over salted.
Great salad bar with many choices. We didn't know it was fish and chicken on the buffet. Have to try it again when we're back!
What an amazing place! Not only is the service top notch, but the food fits the bill for quality dining! They were happy to host a fundraiser, and the community really came in to show that awesome support. First time customer all the way from Illinois, but you bet we will be back should we visit family in Iowa again. Note: Does NOT take card, but they have an ATM machine inside! So don't let that deter you from stopping by!
Nice place and good food. Unique atmosphere found in a small town in Iowa. Waitress was helpful with suggestions and checked on us frequently.
