This is a chill spot. I enjoy the atmosphere, However, I love the bartender Tamala. She's fair, honest, and fun. Such a hard, dedicated worker. I actually come because she's there.
The Bar Person/Wait staff was very polite. She was patient and explained in detail the options for my order. The room seemed clean and there was only a few patrons. My order of hot wings took maybe 15 mins, fried crispy as desired and covered in (mild) Hot Wing sauce. They were the Perfect temperature/taste for me. Entering the vestibule was the only turn off. It had a weird, unpleasant odor. This was a first time so I will return.
Great facility that has the proper accommodations for its purpose: to hangout. Tamala and Taylor have a great upbeat personality that will make you feel right at home. I recommend D Hangout for any type of occasion.
Tamela is an attentive/great manager and server! Their wings are large and all their sauces are unbelievable! If you don't get the waffle fries, their cut fries are also delicious. Pool tables are available and they have karaoke night too. Lots of regulars. Happy hour is worth it!
The staff and drinks are the shining stars of this place. The staff are very attentive, friendly, and really make you feel like they are glad you are there. They also make amazing drinks! The place itself is well kept and very spacious. On the downside is the DJ and the food. The DJ plays the music at ear blowing volumes. I get it if people were dancing, but everyone is just trying to have a conversation as they sip their drinks which was so difficult. He also just seemed to be very unaware of the crowd and didn't care if folks liked the music or not. The food is drunk people bar food, which serves it purpose. I wouldn't come here for the food alone. All in all, it's a nice dive bar that I would recommend for good drink and good people!
Decent spot for a drink! Food is typical bar food. Not the healthiest but if you’re in a pinch, the sweet potato fries are really good! The scene is definitely people older than me, but I had a good time. Live music is always a plus
My husband and I were visiting family in Chicago and we stayed at a place in Elgin, we stumbled on this great little place one Saturday night. We loves it, they had a band there "No Limits" that did cover songs, they were great! We went back on a Monday night and as you can imagine it wasn't very busy. The bartender Michelle was very nice and social. The only negative was one of the owners came out and was very demanding, didn't speak to us, or even smile. Made us feel like we were holding him up. But maybe it was a bad day. Anyway great little place.
Great food. The wings are very large and generously coated in sauce. The atmosphere is lowkey(day time). Its a very large space, the bar is impressive. Never had any issues here.
