Dock 34

What a great place to have around! This was our first time at Dock 34 and it's safe to say that we'll be back. Great food, its on the water, and everyone was very friendly. I don't know the name of the young woman who sang tonight, but GIRL, you got pipes! Bravo. Very talented. Thanks for a great night out, Dock 34! Can't wait to see you again.

The food was great once it arrived. Lobster roll was one of the best I've had. Wings really good. Drinks just ok.. restaurant very understaffed in kitchen .45 minutes wait for one appetizer. 1.5 hours for a Lobster tail and two chicken sandwiches, one of which had mayo on it when we were told they had to remake it because they accidentally put mayo on it. But when it arrived still had mayo. So had to be made again. Staff very friendly and nice views of the river.

UPDATE: We did indeed return for the lobster rolls and they were as delicious as promised. Having tried lobster rolls this summer from every place we could think of from Southbury to Milford, we heartily agree that these are the best! We chose a salad as our side and it was fresh, crisp and generous. The wait staff was as attentive as we found them to be on our last visit and the manager, Jenna, was warm and welcoming. They haven't solved the yellow jacket problem yet, but not for lack of trying. I'm confident they will find an answer. If you are looking for a lobster roll and a scenic spot in which to enjoy it, you can't go wrong with Dock 34!

The place was pretty decent. I wasn’t too fond of the bugs and ants crawling on table. Had to kill at least 6 of them. However, with it being outside by the water bugs and nature are expected. The Cobb salad was amazing and Philly egg rolls were okay. The drinks were amazing and worth the price. Their $5 house margaritas were great. Happy Hour ends at 5pm by the way. Chloe was a great server and very attentive. Overall, I would return and recommend this place.

I thought it was great! The lobster rolls were generous, and the server was great. The atmosphere was outstanding!

Food quality / price (value) rating 8.5. The atmosphere is casual riverside. This was our first visit here. This is a seasonal outdoor venue operating from April through October or November depending on the weather. They have a large outdoor bar area that can be closed in and heated if necessary, and a very large patio area along the shore of the Housatonic River. There are docks available for about 6 boats, and plenty of parking. The menu offers pub style food, hand held sandwiches and burgers, wraps, a few entrees, and other "roadside" foods. They have a limited number of draught beers. This place looks like it's a lot of fun, and they have things happening every night including games, karaoke, and live entertainment on weekends. I had a Grilled Chicken Caesar Wrap, and substituted a very large bowl of cole slaw for fries. The wrap was very good, and had a decent amount of chicken. The wife had a Chicken Quesadilla that was large and she stated that it was very good. The restrooms were very clean and nice. The service was very good.

My 1st time at Dock 34 and it won't be the last!  Excellent service and food. I really enjoyed the Dock 34 burger with sweet potato fries.  While sitting outside you get to relax and enjoy the view of the Housatonic river.

Everyone that works here are so phenomenal, very friendly and polite! The ambience is great, you get the outdoor feel, you're by the river! That's just how the place looks and feels, the food is actually outstanding! I just had the lobster roll and I started with the New England clam chowder, so unbelievably fresh! I feel like I'm in Rhode Island by the ocean! Weather with friends and it's a guys night or a girls night, or you're with family, check this place out!
