For a small, old place the food was extremely good. Homemade. HOMEMADE CHIPS AND SALSA. meals were not greasy. Big portions for moderate prices. I had a the huge chicken flauta, plate. My husband had the hamburger with fries. It resemed a Lotaburger but with better cooked meat. We found this place on Google maps. Just passing through. Didn't want to stop in all the traffic of El Paso. Don't let the word Bar or outside view dissuade you from eating here.
The food was absolutely delicious & so authentic. I enjoyed how welcoming it felt. I got the torta de milanesa, it was better than perfect!! Definitely going back soon!
Awesome crunchy Tacos!!! Best in Fabens!!! Beef Flautas, Red Enchiladas Montadas with Fried Eggs, great Hamburgers!!! Caldo de Rez during the week is sooo good!
Went in for some menudo on a Sunday and it was delicious. Bought $20 worth to take home and 4 of us ate and still had leftover.
Went into the restaurant with about 12 of us. Immediately chairs and tables were moved to accommodate all of us. This was a group of multiple families, and children. Prices of meals were between $9-$12 each and the food was absolutely phenomenal! My family and I (family of 5) had a wonderful time and absolutely loved the food. I ordered the shredded chicken taco plate, and have included a picture. This meal was approx $10. Everything appears to be made from scratch, and not from a box or generic. We did overwhelm the kitchen a little bit, but there were 12 of us total and they were still taking orders over the phone for pick up. I have 0 complaints and will gladly return in the very near future!
Always come here with a few friends and is always a good time. The food is authentic Mexican with some items with some inspiration from across the border in Juarez. The burgers are #1 in the area. Service is awesome at this place, and if you forgot your card at home, they have NFC payment (Apple Pay/Google Pay) Always looking forward to coming here.
We went for the Sunday menudo only to find they only do carry-out orders if you order ahead. We did get our order but had to wait a very long time on our only snowy day. I don't understand why someone could scoop up some menudo and get us home sooner. We don't plan to go back, there's several other places in Fabens that'll do right by you.
The salsa was excellent, the Guacamole was very good, the chips were fresh, and the tacos were excellent. The food here punches well above what you pay for it. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. I can't recommend it enough
