Best fish fry with cole slaw ever! I usually don't eat the cole slaw with my fish fry. The cole slaw here is amazing and it makes the fish fry amazing! The fish was also really good the fish was prepared perfectly. It was fresh with a crusty, salty and peppery batter. Amazing! The staff was attentive from the moment we arrived! Will definitely be back and highly recommend!
Food is really good! the bar up front was Packed! so they sat us in the back hall, which was a little cold, very roomy, and had a middle school cafeteria / gymnasium vibe going. we were there for the fish fry, not the atmosphere! service was great! Note: there is additional parking behind the bar. don't let the full lot out by the road deter you. plenty of seating.
Always a good time at the Rusty Spur. My friend & I meet up here 2-3 x's a year for lunch, drinks & a catch-up. Everyone is always friendly!

Awesome bar food! Everything we’ve had here is really good, large portions, and reasonably priced! We really like the fish fries and burgers. The shrimp, potato pancakes and coleslaw are so yummy. They have a lot of seating in the back room so we’ve never had to wait. The staff is always very nice but if they are busy it can be a little wait for service. Highly recommend!
What a great place! This is perfect customer service. We had the same person as bar tender, waitress and cook! And all the food was delicious and it was served with a smile. Bonus, several horse back riders stopped, tied up their horses and had a little lunch too. Can’t wait to go back and bring friends!
Camping down the way, I had a Reuben and a couple beers, delightful ambience, great food, Laura the bartender is a delight, with a great smile and good conversation...
Burgers are grilled to the most flavorful perfection, the pizza is cheesy with a flavorful crust, and the Friday fish fry is incredible. This establishment has become a favorite spot for me and my loved ones!!! The location is quaint, with a small town pace, and the location is worth the scenic drive! Service is freindly and warm
