The Office Lounge & Liquor Store

We love this place! It is a dive bar, but the simplicity of it is what makes it so great. The staff are incredible--namely Noah, Sarah, Heather, and Emma. Everything I have tried there has been delicious! They have a full bar, great menu, and daily specials. This is a place that we love to meet our friends for a weeknight dinner or grab dinner on a night we just don't feel like cooking and the kids are busy. You'll notice that the parking lot is always full and it's for good reason. Try it out! I think you'll love it!

Place hasn't changed hardly a bit in 30 years. Thankfully the food hasn't changed either, it's always excellent and fairly priced. Good service as well. Sounds like tonight's dinner plans will include the office lounge.

One of the best dive bars in all of Bloomington. We love this place for it’s no-frills chill environment. The food, service, and vibe is everything. The bar is a great place to socialize with town folk. Pool tables, TVs, great food and good times - what more can you ask for?

I have always wanted to come in and check out the Office Lounge, but never could find a place to park outside. I found out that you can actually park across the street and at the office building next door! I believe Carrie was my waitress, and she was fantastic and attentive. Very funny as well. As a single woman, I appreciate being able to walk into a bar and sit and read the news without anyone staring or thinking I’m there to be picked up. I felt totally safe and comfortable the whole time. If I wanted to be more social, I’m sure I could have sat up at the bar and chatted with those folks. Very laid-back vibe. Food was really excellent, hot, and drinks reasonably priced. I hope to become a regular and meet Larry one day.

I ordered the ribeye steak dinner. Which comes with a salad, baked potato and a slice of garlic bread. My server was top notch, very experienced and kind. That's more than what other places have in the same class of business. I enjoyed my time here. Friday's are a good night to be here. They have karaoke that starts at 930 and ends at 1am. I highly recommend it here. The owner is kind but stern so don't start trouble and keep your troubles outside. The owner will have you removed so do the owner a favor and all the patrons and just enjoy your time. Everyone works hard here so tip your servers well they work hard for you.

This has become a main staple for us. Love the small bar atmosphere, the food is outstanding and fair priced. Having cold amberbock on draft is a bonus, a rarity. The cheeseburgers are very good here and the grilled or breaded tenderloins are solid as well. Only complaint is it gets busy here for good reason, with industry staffing shortages you might need some patience and parking can be tough. See you there!

I think this is a gem of a place. The staff is polite, and the food is clean, good portions, well prepared. I would recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a good meal. I sat at the bar, it was Sunday. You can't go wrong here. Be specific on how you want your food prepared. Leave a LARGE TIP
