Good food, good drinks, great bartenders! Hidden just a 10 minute rimide from Sioux Falls, but it's a great place to stop in.
The food is always fabulous. The staff is always friendly and are on top of getting whatever you need. We often do carry out and I am elderly and walk with a cane and quite often they will walk out to my car with me.
Gotta make this our Friday night dinner out place!! Coldest beer in town first of all !! I had the Chislic Special. It was all awesome and a ton of food. Meat very flavorful and super tender!! Wife had cheese burger and the fries were amazing as well. Price was very normal for our world today. Thanks for a great night out and keep up the good work!
About 10 minutes north of Sioux Falls, on main strip in Crooks. The server here was awesome, very prompt, attentive and friendly. Tried the Burger Battle menu item, "Bubba's Revenge". Delicious all around. Atmosphere was welcoming and surprisingly spacious. Worth the drive to find this hidden gem!
Great atmosphere and The Food was beyond DELICIOUS!
We really enjoyed the chislic special. Felt it was a very good value - generous portion and nicely cooked. We really had a great time singing karaoke with Kelly too - she's the reason we came to check it out!
We had so much fun! The manager Angela is great! The owners We awesome to meet and very happy. They are friendly, good at what they do and they care. The Wooden Nickel is a friendly small town bar, with talented customers, who love to sing Karaoke. SHELL YA! did a great, crowd involved show there and it was a huge success. We will be there every month, and sometimes twice. We are booked until September.. Thank you to the people of Crooks for being down to earth and for your warm welcome. First timer--short drive from Sioux Falls. A late night dinner and drinks with girlfriends. Our bartender/server was super sweet and took great care of us. The Cajun chicken pasta was good. Large portion size. Next time I will definitely try the chicken philly. My friend who ordered it said it was amazing. Great cheese curds too! Thanks for the great food and service.
