Stopped in on the way to the local bird park. One of the few places in town and was actually surprised at the amount of choices. The staff was exceptionally nice and the portions were large enough for 2 people.
We stopped here after going to the bird sanctuary. We were hot and hungry and this was the perfect stop. The food was fresh and delicious. The lady taking our order was kind and helpful. My son loved his catfish so much he said that we have to come back the next time we come to this area.
We stopped by this hidden gem on the way from Sylvan Heights Bird Park—ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Although we had 12+ guest without notice the service was immaculate, very professional and the food was fresh! This restaurant is amazing, so amazing that I ordered food to go!
True North Carolina soul food. The BBQ was good. We had chicken, cabbage, rootabega. The Mac and cheese is too die for. Would recommend for a true taste of the South.
I have been here before several years ago and it didn't disappoint. I visited today for lunch and it was still as good as I remember. Hamburger steak, mac and cheese, and collards...never go wrong with that combo...delicious!
Had the bbq combo. Priced 9.99. Sandwich was good. Prefer crinkle cut fries. Manager was courteous.
My husband and I enjoyed their vegetables great to have fresh rutabagas and their greens are good. Veggie plate is my favorite. My husband like the bake chicken. Staff has always treated us kind and respectful. Thank you for being here.
The food was good & hot & fresh. I got the fried shrimp combo & my aunt got the catfish combo. They cook the fish fresh so you have to wait a little but that’s fine
