Fat Tracy’s has limited hours, so check Facebook before driving over. Today’s Rib Dinner is the best rib dinner I have had in several years. The ribs were outstanding. The potato and slaw were great. Every part was perfect. They even serve real butter and sour cream. Fat Tracy’s is now a Food Truck parked in front of their old building, but with the same owners and a limited selection of the same food. The rib dinner is highly recommended. And the lunch BBQ sandwiches are amazing
I got the BBQ ribs, with hush puppies, fries, an baked beans. The ribs where good, the fries an hush puppies were excellent an the baked beans were alright. Mom got the sirloin steak, with baked potato, an mushroom gravy. She said the steak was a little salty, the potato was really good an hot, an the mushroom gravy was okay. Make sure you go hungry, cause the portion size is huge.
Downtown Forest City establishments were packed with waits of an hour to two hours a month ago. Fat Tracy's were kind enough to take our group of 6 15 minutes to close on a Friday night. The BBQ was decent; most of the sides were okay, minus the collard greens (I make mine with various spices and seasonings). I appreciated their hospitality.
Food was good. Price was good. Service was good. Staff was friendly.
Food was delicious, portions were great, and price was amazing! One of the few places that serves Eastern style BBQ.
Nice BBQ with super friendly service. Atmosphere could use a little updating. Food was very tasty. Fried Okra was just the right amount of crunchy and flavor. The pulled pork was delicious and the original sauce was the perfect addition. Bread was served with the plate. I think you will have a great meal with a stop at Fat Tracy's..
Just ate at the new location for the first time. We were waited on very quickly by a very sweet waitress. Our food came out in less than 10 minutes and was hot fresh and delicious! I got the smoked chicken. It was very good! The fries were fresh cut and tasty! My husband got the triple decker club. It was also very good! The atmosphere of the new restaurant is not as cozy and homey feeling but it is large and in good condition. Has separate rooms that appear to be available for parties which is nice. Overall we liked it and will go back again.
Was greeted right away. I ordered two BBQ baskets to go. One with red slaw and one with white slaw. The red slaw is vinegar based and the white slaw is Mayonnaise based. The food was really good. BBQ was a little bland but solid. I'll eat here again.
