The $1 Tuesday tacos were the best lunch I’ve had in Marshalltown - and such a steal. Definitely worth it to try for the first time. Tacos asada and al pastor were both delicious and the green and red salsas are perfect. I’ll definitely be back.
Love this place! Wish I could find a place in Colorado that has chicken and noodles as good as here. Husband had the best cheeseburger he's had in a while and my kid actually ate her chicken! Will always come here when in the area! A must go if you are in Marshalltown or coming through!
Lived in Indiana for a few years and fell in love with pork tenderloin sandwiches! Came to town for work and found Haley's online. When I saw they offered a tenderloin sandwich I had to go get one. Let me tell you..... AMAZING! Just as big and tasty as i remember from hoosierland! Get over her and check it out! Dining room open 11a-3p. The owner I interacted with was very nice. She treated me well and had some good conversation.
Great place to grab a nice meal. They take each day and make a smoked specialty. Great break from the fast food grind. I tried wings tonight. I'm into wings and have tried many. My four star comes from not enough paddles and the drummie portions were huge, almost like they were legs! Nothing against the taste, which was teriyaki flavored. Just prefer my drums smaller and an even number or more, paddles. Overall, I've eaten here many times and it's great.
One of the better small town dining experiences my family has had. My wife grew up in the area and insisted we go while we were visiting. I am so glad she did! The food was good and no one left feeling hungry. There were a variety of items to choose from, including regional flavors. The staff was courteous, helpful, and hard working. They were even able to accommodate our party of twelve! My only qualm is that there isn't a location in our home town!
Grew up in Marshalltown by when Haley's was a grocery store. As an adult I transplanted to Texas. Right now I'm home for a visit and had to have an authentic Central Iowa Tenderloin. The employees were friendly, the service was great, and the Tenderloin (ok Pork Fritter Sandwich) was heaven. This and of course the Maid Rite are always the two "must do" stops when we come home for a visit.
Great home cooked food!! If you don't have time to cook a meal, stop here! They have all your favorites from chicken, ham balls, meatloaf and the ribs are so delicious!! The sides are all fresh and flavorful. The staff is very friendly!
Tenderlions were good and also a good price for the meal. Not as many side choices in the cooler but everything was tasty. Please was clean and you can have a nice meal without a lot of noise
