We enjoyed a couple of small catfish platters, which were anything but small. The fish was fried perfectly and served piping hot. Our waitress was super nice. Hope to eat there again soon.
We went here to get food between our sons 2 basketball games. The food was absolutely amazing. Our waitress was friendly and took great care of us. We had our food in less than 20 minutes. We will definitely be going back. If you are in the area it's definitely worth stopping in.
I must say for a first time visit, this eatery left a lasting impression on my wife and I. We were truly blessed by the service and the food was out of this world good. If you have not been to Kathy's Catfish and Bar-B-Q, please quite denying yourself if the best fish in the North Alabama area!!!!
The fish Hush Puppies and bake potatoes were really good.Did not care for the slow at all too much vinegar.
Our go to place. Best Catfish I’ve ever had. My Mom lives in Texas and has never liked fish. But she always eats some Kathy’s Catfish when she visits. Yeah that’s how great it is. The vinegar slaw and hush puppies are ultimate compliments to the fish.
We had a funeral today and about 30 of us dropped in on these girls. The service was swift the food was really good and it was right the 1st time. There were only 2 waitresses and I think 2 cooks. On top of us about 12 more people came in while we were there. They kept our drinks full and was really on top of their game! I was skeptical going in but I'll for sure be back! It's nice to go into a restaurant and get great food AND great service! I would have taken pictures of the awesome food but I was so hungry and it looked so good, I just chowed down without thinking.
It's good food. They have the battered Mozzarella sticks which are the best. Hush puppies were so fluffy and yummy.
Known for the catfish... But try the AWESOME RIBEYE, and the grilled pork chops. Crab legs are good too when in season. Football season is here: Try the Buffalo Wings!!! A hidden secret.
