Lee's Chinese Inn

I often visit Lee's for the fried fish and sesame chicken family meal special, which is more than reasonable. I always order the shrimp and vegetables fired rice. This is a quick alternative for dinner when cooking is not on your agenda.

Googled this spot and showed up. I have no regrets! Great customer service and the cashier Teresa was so kind and attentive to my girlfriends vegan needs, and answered detailed questions to ensure that there was no meat in her dish. I ordered the 9 shrimp, paster’s, fish, and fried vegetable rice. The order was hot and fresh and the Arnold Palmer lemonade and sweet tea was incredible. Teresa even came out to our cat and offered us more napkins and checked on us while we stuffed our face with great fried rice and fried seafood. I will be telling my family about this golden gem!!!

The Lee’s are a hard working family who’s been feeding the area of Ascenion and St. James at the foot of the Sunshine Bridge on the West Bank. They have a wide range of Chinese dishes at very reasonable prices. From the Appetizers to the large selection of meats and veggies dishes on the entrées side. Sorry, the Lee’s have retired, their place is now closed. They have been my neighbors for over 30 years.

We have lived in Donaldsonville going on 2 months and have been trying all Chinese resturants trying to find the best one and we finally did! Lee's not only has Chinese food but seafood as well and it is the best around! Whether you get the fried shrimp and fish or the sesame chicken, you won't be dissapointed! Honestly the only thing we didn't like was the big chunks of onion in the egg drop soup. All around great restaurant, best sweet and sour sauce you'll find around here.

Probably the best Chinese food in Donaldsonville. They also will make anything as spicy as you want which is amazing. I can't wait for the pandemic to be over to actually have the buffet again, but you can still get plate lunches.

This is one of those diamond in the rough places. Best food in a hard to come by kinda place. Definitely worth a visit if passing through or close to Donaldsonville. And the lemonade is the sweetest!!!

We had the shrimp and the catfish and it was some of the best seafood we have ever eaten. When we gave good shrimp or catfish we compare it to Lee’s and it is never as good as this place. Try it out!
