Some very, very good BBQ!! Stopped here on my way thru and couldn't be happier. Service was great and the prices were very reasonable. I'll be back.
Best Bar-B-Q in East Texas! Just traveling through, picked this place randomly on Google, and was so thrilled that we stopped. The brisket was heavenly, the sides were all delicious, and my buddy says his three-meat po-boy was incredible (he obviously didn't offer to share any). I will be making an effort to travel through here again just for this dining experience.
Only one in the place. Great price. Didn’t seem like much at first but I’m leaving the perfect kind of full right now. Very kind workers. Would highly recommend
Stopped in while driving thru Emory. Thought I would give them a try. Stood in the line for a bit before someone acknowledged me. Some of the sides looked a little dried out. I got the 2 meat plate (brisket & sausage) with potato salad and bbq beans. The brisket was tender and super delicious, full of flavor. I wasn't thrilled with the sausage, seemed a little dry and not much flavor. I especially enjoyed the potato salad, reminded me of what my wife makes. 2 thumbs up for the potato salad and brisket. The bbq sauce was flavorful but I feel it needed to be a little thicker, seemed to be really thinned down. Atmosphere was visually cool, really needed some music though. I'm likely to stop in again and give the Chicken Fried Steak a shot.
Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! The favorite of our table were the king fries! Pulled pork was flavorful, brisket juicy, chicken tenders & fries were real and homemade. A great choice for our road trip lunch!
I eat a lot of bbq. This place was one of the best. The brisket was moist and the rib meat fell off the bone. The sides were excellent as well, which included the coleslaw, potato salad and fried squash. Maybe tv's during football season is all I can think of or a slight freshening up of the interior, which was nice. I'll definitely be back!
First impressions are very cute decor and friendly staff! Was served by Cheyenne, who was attentive and very friendly! She recommended the cowboy beans (a must try) and the mashed potatoes (also amazing). The owner even stopped by to check in on my group, and was also kind! With a group of over 10, we were served really quickly! I had sausage plate with cowboy beans and mashed potatoes, all for a great price! Overall great service and experience! Will come again!
I stopped in got a full rack of ribs, they didnt have much flavor on them and must have been under cooked, because i was not feeling well for a week or so afterward, i dont eat bbq often because of price generally. The service was great the staff was very inviting and nice. The restraunt looked rustic, clean and inviting and they were getting busier while i was there. The price was reasonable the product was not as good as Bodacious BBQ in my opnion. Good luck, i would caustiously try again.
