My husband and I went for dinner and the food was amazing. We tried the cevapi and burek, both were great portions and delicious. You can tell that the owner takes great pride in his food. We also had the baklava which was just as amazing. While we were there a woman came in and was being rude about not having bread pudding, which according to her it 'said online was on the menu'. The owner was kind throughout the entire interaction even though the woman was not. We will definitely be returning, not just because of the amazing food but because a genuinely kind and amazing person runs the restaurant. (P.S. I uploaded pictures of the current menu so he won't have to deal with something like that again...I hope.)
Everything is so delicious! The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is great, we will be back. Pozdrav za “Kamenog”. :)
The owner, Haw-so, is a very curtious gentleman and very attentive server of some very elegantly presented traditional turkish coffee and treats! Overall a very quaint cafe to come to for some excellent service and excellent cafe treats!
Love the old world charm. Had the cevapi for lunch it was great. Nice bar and soccer atmosphere. If you come for lunch they might only have cevapi FYI
Very tasteful, home made food. The gentleman who runs it is very kind. The Cevapi is just briliant. We tried the cheese Pita tonight and the dough was delicious. The desserts are just as good as the main meal! A must-try restaurant if you're in the area! Support local!
We went in to order cevapi and were told they also had goulash and cabbage rolls that day, so we ordered a bit of everything. We were told it was going to be 20 minutes, and it was well worth the wait. Everything was fresh and delicious. The food was homemade, even the bread, which was amazing. The man behind the bar who waited on and cooked for us was very hospitable and friendly. A definite stop whenever we're in the area.
Went there with 11 other family members! The people were Awsome, they greeted you with open arms! We all came from a wedding the night before! I ordered a water and everyone at the bar broke out laughing and speaking in a different language! I broke out laughing myself! Food was awesome, never had any of it before.Very nice people! You up for some family atmosphere and different food, go here you'll love it!
Amazing place to try authentic Balkan food. Small rotating menu but all food is homemade from the cevapi (small sausages) to the somun (bread). Staff are welcoming and a pleasure to talk to.
