The Mermaid Dive Bar

It is as claimed. Dive bar, hard core rap, dim lights, strong drinks, all the things dive, but not faux dive. Legit with great bartenders. We did not eat but it’s still on the to do list.

Love this little Dive Bar! The food was delicious and the servers were great! The shrinp Pad Thai was so good we order another to go.

Exceptional staff and regulars. Never been there before and I felt welcomed with a smile. Solid pours, a lot of laughs and great service. Pad Thai and house made pork egg rolls at midnight? Yes please. Skip the casino late night commercial food and get the local energy. Venture off I 10 5 minutes and enjoy great hospitality and food.

My husband and I came here for a date night last night starving and the food did not disappoint. Our server, Anessa, was friendly, happy, and attentive to our needs. First of all, the wings had a crunch and flavor that sent me to another dimension. How are they so juicy yet still so crispy on the outside? Honestly the best wings I’ve ever had in my life. The chicken Pad Thai I got was so amazing I didn’t say one single word the whole time I was eating it. My husband got the smashie burger and he said that this was the BEST food he has ever gotten at a bar. And that’s saying a lot because he’s been all over! Highly recommend getting the garlic parm fries on the side because wow! We can’t wait to go back!!!! Thank you Anessa for taking care of us!

A mermaid was amazing she was very sweet and kind. The staff was welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. Not being from Biloxi it was nice to be welcomed so warmly.

I love this place for a few reasons. You can walk in here as any genre of person. The DJ was great, and even talked to me and my wife a bit. The bartenders were friendly, and quick. We spent new years here and it was fun. Its a great place to meet friends. Definitely the local watering hole. I still didnt see any real mermaids while I was here though. Maybe I didnt drink enough.

Pretty neat little corner bar in downtown Biloxi. So happy I finally got to check it out. The ambiance is pretty nice and the bartenders make some pretty good drinks. They have a neat little seating area by the door with two couches- super chill and cozy, but also have the bar, a few tables by the TVs, and a wall length booth over by the pool table (they also have darts!) I only knocked a star bc I was really looking forward to trying the pad tai, but when I received it it was just...not pad tai. It says it comes with bean sprouts and peanuts, but those were definitely not in my dish- neither was the tamarind. So basically it was just sweet noodles with eggs and shrimp. Not terrible....just not what I wanted. Will definitely be back for another try!
