This place is really good. The biscuits and gravy were great and the western omelet was fluffy and very tasty. Definitely recommend coming here if you're vacationing in Helen, Ga.

Tried this place out on a vacation to the Helen, GA, area and cannot say enough good things about it. The breakfast was phenomenal!!! Delicious biscuits and gravy, wonderful blueberry pancakes, and probably the fluffiest omelets we've ever eaten! Everything was super delicious! Shout out to the server, Tiffany. She was on top of everything even with a full house yet still checked in frequently with us. A must stop if you're in the area, an absolutely wonderful place!

After living in NE Georgia for nearly 3 years we are still searching for a good breakfast place we create a routine in going to. Google suggested the Sautee Trail Cafe so we tried it. The place was busy and once inside it was obvious most were regulars and knew all who walked through the door (except us-LOL!). All were welcoming and pleasant. Seating was grab it if no one is there (no hostess) and is arranged in a large room with 4 place tables. the menu was basic and limited but you can substitute and adjust as necessary (at additional expense). Our server (Tiffany) was very pleasant and attentive. The food looked decent, although not very hot once served. It was unremarkable in taste but palatable. The bacon was very crispy and the eggs very good but the biscuits were seriously lacking ( not good especially for a Georgia establishment!) and tasted frozen. A good food comparison generally speaking is the Waffle House in taste and quality, but Waffle House would be my choice here. In my opinion the final price was high for what we ordered (2 basic breakfasts, one water one coffee =$30). Would I return? Perhaps but I would not go out of my way to do so.

One of my all-time favorite restaurants! Who woulda thought a little place out on the highway, not in Helen or even in Clarkesville, but out between, could be so good!!! THE BEST HAMBURGERS ON THE PLANET! Every time I go, I swear I am gonna get something else, (And have) and almost always end up with a Mountain Burger and sweet potato fries! And the best tea in the area! Fantastic brownies and cookies at the counter! A clean, simple, yet AMAZING place! Their breakfast rocks too! I recommend them for anything on their menu, and the kind hearts that work there care and cook the best! A really great little treasure in the Habersham/White county area! Worth the stop!!!

5 stars all around! The most adorable restaurant with great service and incredible food (and great prices). I had the western omelette and it was cooked to perfection. My kids loved the pancakes. Definitely check this place out!

Food, service and atmosphere was wonderful! I ordered a Western omelette and added mushrooms and it was delicious! The vegetables are very fresh and the omelette was cooked perfect! Not burnt at all! My husband ordered the tenderloin biscuit with eggs and grits and nothing was left on his plate! Must stop place if you are in the area!

Sautee Trail Cafe has great food, great prices! Love corned beef hash, so my waitress customized my breakfast meal, the hash was nice and crispy, perfectly cooked scrambled eggs, and homemade biscuit! Will definitely be back!
